 I ordered the "Clicky" (satisfying click) blue switches, a decision I do not regret but one I thought would be more satisfying. The low profile keys, short stroke and lackluster click add up to a less than stellar typing feel. My generic mechanical keyboard from 5 years ago still clicks the crap out of this MX, talk about satisfying. I was hoping this keyboard would solve the multiple keyboard workspace issue I have but after plugging in the wireless MX and putting it through it's paces, I never ended up unplugging "Old Clunky"

 However, since I have had 4 devices hooked up (Mac Mini, Mac Book Pro, iPad and Win 10 PC) I would like to have 1 more slot for immediate usage. To be fair, the ability to drop / add a new device on the fly is so easy that 3 slots is more than reasonable. So as far as hitting all the bullet points on the product description list, the Wireless MX Mechanical keyboard does so in dependable Logitech fashion.  While the basics are met, there were some expectations that were not

  I totally dislike some of the keyboard layout. Specifically: 1. Lack of spacing between Function key groups. On a full-sized normal keyboard, there is extra space between F4 and F5, and again between F8 and F9

So far this keyboard has been working pretty well. I got the title version and feels really nice to type on. I will say that the back light sometimes doesn’t come on when I hover my hands on top of it but that’s really not a problem. I think you could keep them on permanently in the settings haven’t really had no connection problems and so far other than the backlight works good battery life is super long and sometimes I forget I have to charge it other than that pretty good

 Overall, I like it, I like it a lot. It looks good, it types really nice. Yeah, it's a, the feel of this keycap is great. I don't really care for the RGB lighting, I don't really think it's needed, because first of all, these keycaps, the letters, they don't shine through, so the light only goes around the keycap without the light shining through, so unless you want to change the keycaps into shine-through type, but on the bright side, these keycaps, the letters are very, very visible

 You can flip around that, change all the colors, make it glow, it's, it's cool, it's a whole bunch of stuff you can do with a little bit. Yeah, it's neat. Overall, I like it, I like it a lot. It looks good, it types really nice

 When you compare it to, when you compare it to the ALT, you can't, you can barely see the letters, but the lights shine through, so the letters illuminate with the RGB, so the RGB makes sense on the ALT, whereas on on the Voltec Race 3, it doesn't make sense. Yeah, so if I recommend anything, I just ordered the regular non-RGB version, you'll save yourself 20 bucks, but you know, if you want the RGB, you know, 20, spend it 20 bucks, I mean, it's really not that much more, then that's the reason I got it, because you know, 20 bucks, whatever. While Voltec claims this is Mac compatible, and you can, you can have Mac keys, so it has the Mac keys, the Mac mode is not 100%, like the F keys, only the brightness up and down, as well as the volume works, the other F key doesn't have, it's not Mac, it doesn't Mac, if you press it, it doesn't do anything, like the expose key doesn't work, so you can always program it, so you can program it to reset everything to work the way you want, but out the box, if you don't want to do any programming, it has the Mac mode, but it's not 100% compatible with Mac, just so you know that. The pricing is $149 for the non-RGB version, at 20 bucks for the RGB, you can get it from Amazon, I'll have the link below, but yeah, if you're looking for a high quality keyboard, made of metal, really, really solid, like yeah, it's solid as a rock, with selectable switches, so I choose the MX Blue, which the nice clicky, because I like clicky, tactile clicky, feels great

Vortexgear Race 3 Mechanical Keyboard Unboxing and Review

 Hey everyone, John Sjou here and today I have an unboxing and review of the Voltec Race 3 Mechanical Keyboard.

 So let's open it up, slide it open and...

 So, the keyboard, take that out, put it to the side for now.

 Underneath this box, we have a USB cable, looks about five feet.

 And little riser feet to raise the keyboard to a more comfortable typing angle.

 And additional keys, colorful keys and also keys to turn your keyboard into Mac compatible.

 All right, so this is the keyboard itself, nice sturdy weight, it's made of metal, low profile,

 floating key design, uses a DSA profile, so the keys are all on the same level, flat.

 The Voltec Race 3 is a 75% keyboard, so it's 75% of the keys and it's 10 keyless, very, very compact.

 In fact, it's when you compare it to a 65% keyboard, like this is the Meshop L, 65%, this is 75%.

 If you notice that, it's practically the same size, in fact, the L is a little bigger.

 Close look at the keys, like you see that the flat key, the DSA profile keys of the Voltec,

 versus the angular keys of the Alt. Both keyboards are made of aluminum, they wave about the same.

 The difference is, this is over $200 or this is $159.

 The Voltec Race uses this genuine Cherry MX switch key switches, these are the blue one,
