 I ordered the "Clicky" (satisfying click) blue switches, a decision I do not regret but one I thought would be more satisfying. The low profile keys, short stroke and lackluster click add up to a less than stellar typing feel. My generic mechanical keyboard from 5 years ago still clicks the crap out of this MX, talk about satisfying. I was hoping this keyboard would solve the multiple keyboard workspace issue I have but after plugging in the wireless MX and putting it through it's paces, I never ended up unplugging "Old Clunky"

 However, since I have had 4 devices hooked up (Mac Mini, Mac Book Pro, iPad and Win 10 PC) I would like to have 1 more slot for immediate usage. To be fair, the ability to drop / add a new device on the fly is so easy that 3 slots is more than reasonable. So as far as hitting all the bullet points on the product description list, the Wireless MX Mechanical keyboard does so in dependable Logitech fashion.  While the basics are met, there were some expectations that were not

  I totally dislike some of the keyboard layout. Specifically: 1. Lack of spacing between Function key groups. On a full-sized normal keyboard, there is extra space between F4 and F5, and again between F8 and F9

So far this keyboard has been working pretty well. I got the title version and feels really nice to type on. I will say that the back light sometimes doesn’t come on when I hover my hands on top of it but that’s really not a problem. I think you could keep them on permanently in the settings haven’t really had no connection problems and so far other than the backlight works good battery life is super long and sometimes I forget I have to charge it other than that pretty good

 It'S a genius stroke of a design and doubtlessly an expensive one, but it's the best of both worlds. So, overall, what can I say? It'S a model M. It'S one of the best keyboards ever made, let's better boards for gaming, but it's still quite serviceable for that and for typing. It'S absolutely outstanding, build like a tank, excellent switches, outstanding, key caps and a classic timeless design

 In other words, the key caps all appear. The same when viewed from the side, but on the keyboards, the key caps curve in toward the middle, which makes it easier and more ergonomic to type on this is by virtue of the unique curved assembly that IBM used, which goes back as far as the model. Fxt, by contrast, most keyboards use sculpted key caps. Instead, which means they look different depending on what row they're on

 The model M is the internal name for the IBM, enhanced keyboard, which was developed in 1984 during the lifetime of the PC 80, but is known mostly for its inclusion with the later IBM ps/2. Because of this, they sold gazillions of these a testament to IBM's world class everything at the time. These extremely high quality keyboards were the standard by which all other keyboards were measured back in the day, and arguably they still should. The model M is possibly the most well known and most influential keyboard of all time, and it remains a timeless classic even to this day, while the computers they came with are now either dead or horribly obsolete

 The first generation ones were the ones that came with the PC 80, which were made until some point in 1987, and the most famous model of this generation is part number 139, o 131. Most models M had the famous two parts of the touchable key caps, which IBM seemed to have introduced to layout, customization and key swapping easier and possibly also cut manufacturing costs. These were introduced on terminal keyboards and you could buy all kinds of kits with special keys that you could swap onto your keyboards to customize them. Some M's did come with single part key caps, though, and in fact some people actually prefer them
