I recently switched for the mx master 3 and it's amazing, I Know isn't a gamer mouse, I used to have an hp omen 400 and still it's more accurate but I don't play a lot of games and for the things I do now the mx master 3 is amazing, if you have the money and you do like 3d stuff I recommend it.

well i came from the hp omen mouse 400 wich is 100 grams and the mx master 3 is like 140 or something like that, my first impression is that it was hevier but not to much, is more comfortable for me that i have big hands but ive never complained about the weight of it, and other thing i dont use it for playng games i use it for modeling at blender for me its perfect and i dont complain about the weight isnt that much but and youll get use to it pretty fast, i like it and for being realistic i didnt fell that big of a difference when switching from my omen mouse 400 that is like 100 grams to this one, i recommend this mouse for working is pretty comfortable and you dont fell the weight, hope i made me understand haha.

Very comfortable

My favorite is the side scroll. I work through Excel documents quite often and the side scroll function makes my lift so much more convenient when navigating! Only downside is that the Logitech software seems to lose connection causing me to lose my assigned function keys. I would have to relaunch the logitech application for my function keys to enable again which is a little annoying. Other than that, great mouse!

Battery Life

Speaking of battery life, that's been improved from 40 days to 70 days over the last version, though I didn't have the chance to test that out during the few days I've been testing the MX Master 2S. Logitech claims that the mouse will run for a full day on three minutes of charging, though I found it convenient to just keep the mouse plugged in while it fully charged over a few hours. There is a micro-USB port on the front of the mouse to plug in the included USB cable, which lets you recharge while using it. That's a lot more sensible than the Lightning cable port on the bottom of the Apple Magic Mouse 2 ($65

I do a lot of switching between desktops, scrolling pages, and play WoW and CoD. Battery life seems to be really solid. No complaints there so far. Plus the charge port is in the front of the mouse so you can still use it

Grip

Great, except for the feel...

Con 1: Where this model mainly falls short is in the overall feel. It feels taller and fatter than both the MX Master and G602. My hand has to stay both more open and further back to hold it when compared to smaller mice, and i prefer to have my hand further forward in a more 'claw-like' grip. I have played piano and guitar most of my life and one of the important points to consider ergonomically when pressing down on a key or fret or in this case, a mouse button, is to have an over-the-top down-press that comes from curving your fingers

NOT for Carpal Tunnel Users! Despite the 'ergo' design. Trust me.

It definitely feels like a luxury mouse in your hand, no doubt about it. It is very palm-grip oriented, and has a very strange design choice on the rear, as it drops off, leaving you either levitating your hand, or drooping your hand..

Logitech g703 vs Mountain Makalu 67

I've recently tried the Roccat Kone Pro, Razor DeathAdder v2, Cooler master mm720, and even the Logitech MX Master 3. All of these just feel too narrow for me and are not easy for me to grip properly. DeathAdder was probably the best of these but the clicks are a bit mushy and it's a much lower profile than the g703/Makalu 67. The flare in the front kind of prevents the exact same grip being used

Sensor Technology

The scroll lock button is monitored with an onboard sensor of some sort instead of a physical lock like my last mouse . That lets you scroll freely with a big swipe as if it were not locked then once it detects a slow down in the scroll spin it clamps down and holds the scroll wheel in place. Oh and still hasn't lost it's charge from the first charge.

Scroll Wheel

Another FANTASTIC mouse from Logitech

They also provide a hardware button just like on their other mice to allow infinite scrolling to be constantly on. I also enjoy the side scroll wheel. I used the left and right "middle click" on my G502 to navigate spreadsheets a lot and this wheel makes doing that a lot easier. The overall experience with this mouse is a pleasing one

Four steps backwards, four steps forward

Cleaning that part of the mouse was a minor quibble on the 2S nonetheless. Either way, the all metal scroll wheel feels a lot better to use now that it's all metal and the actual groves in the wheel feel much better to touch. 2.) The silent clicks on the right and left clicker are a positive in my mind
