The M720 Triathlon Mouse has Logitech's Advanced Optical Tracking, with a laser-sensor resolution of 1,000dpi. This feature boasts "ultra precise" tracking on "almost" any surface. In our experience, we had no issues, whether it was on a wooden table, a piece of paper, or even the fabric of a pants leg.

While trying to understand what was wrong with the sensor, I tried setting, from the software my polling rate from 1000Hz down to even 125Hz, as I heard that the stutter may be due to lack of synchronization between the polling rate and monitor refresh rate.

Only buy this mouse if you have medium to large hands. If you do, it's very comfortable to hold and supports any grip style in my usage. The first week of owning it might feel like its stretching your hand muscle every so slightly, but your muscles will find a comfortable position after a week or so. Comparing it to the G pro Wireless, this is a very good mouse and I don't think (in usage) the G pro wireless is any better

This mouse is the right fit and weight. It has so many features and was very easy to set up via bluetooth with my PC's. So many things you can program in this mouse.

My only gripe is lack of DPI settings. Considering this contains almost al the features of MX series along with an ergonomic geometry, I can see where Logitech compromised and that is the laser detection. Don't get me wrong, the sensitivity is great for office users and light photoshop however you feel the lack of accurate laser detection while gaming and detailed graphic work. Overall, I would definitely recommend this for anyone as long as this is not your tool for gaming

Now, this is easily remedied if you know how to work the software (which to be fair is not as intuitive as it should be). Quick how to: set all 5 dpi settings to settings which you use, and make sure only one setting is checked per profile (the button on the mouse swaps profiles, not the individual settings).
