Quite a step up from my previous G413, I think this will serve me well for a while. I kept all the foam that came with the board, I prefer the sound of that. I also didn't change the plate, so it's aluminum.

A close second would be my monitor arm. All of these combined freed up a ton of space on my desk and contribute to a clean simple aesthetic that I really appreciate.

Compared to the Razerblade Blackwidow Elite, this keyboard sucks. Try going to Target and see for yourself. I was not impressed with this, and I should've tested this out before buying. The Razerblade switches far outclass these switches

- You cannot edit a specific key on the keyboard besides the G-Keys. I was expecting to be able to edit just about every key, whether it's disabling "E," or changing it to a macro as an extra G-Key. With the software, you are only able to edit 6 buttons; you can edit the 5 G-Keys, and the Game Key. With my previous keyboard, I was able to disable specific keys, or change them to another key (such as changing "E" to "K")

Oh use the logitech gaming software. You will benefit a lot from what the software has to offer for this keyboard. You can tweak things to your liking when you are playing games.

I have the software installed on my Home PC without issue, but the software still is bloated and buggy. - The shift values on the keyboard are printed below the non-shift values. For a screenshot see the (as of this posting) the third image for the product that shows the middle of the keyboard and says 'Lightspeed Wireless' View the ? and / keys to the left of shift. Normally, on most keyboards I have used, the Shift value ? is printed above the non-shift value /

The one layout tweak I’d make is to add a discreet Print Screen key, which, on tenkeyless boards, is generally located above the Insert key. But here, that space is taken by LEDs for Caps and Scroll-lock. In my ideal future, we’d kick the Insert key off modern keyboards entirely to avoid facing these sorts of issues (it’s also time to get rid of Pause Break, quite frankly), but I digress.

That was the deal breaker for me, as I don't expect the keyboard to last long, and then I'd have to recycle a perfectly working Li-Ion battery for no good reason. Not green at all. Oh, and I also didn't like how the backlight settings are reset to default on every reboot, according to reviews and the manual. I personally don't need it at all, and I would like it to be able to turn it off permanently without having to use any bloatware, but that's not an option

esp as my eyes age and need brighter lighting, esp at oblique angles. I really like my previous kb, a logitech 820, but it was getting old and cruddy, the backlighting was kind of weak, and didn't seem as 'fast'. I also have a saitek cyborg kb (also ancient now), which I mostly like, but takes up a huge amount of desk space, and could also have brighter backlighting.

This means that even after regular use, few of my keycaps stems snapped off after a year of use. I had one keycap actually break both of the little feet so it cannot be attache to the keyboard switch at all.

The factory packaging is sleek and well-designed. Since this is a gaming keyboard, the replacement gaming keycaps (numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and letters Q, W, E, R, A, S, and D) are individually vacuum-sealed in a thick plastic strip along with a small plastic keycap pulling tool. The only product inserts are two small single squares of paper: one merely shows a diagram of how to plug in the USB connectors and the other is the 2-year product warranty information.

Logitech G413 Carbon for 78$. Asus ROG Strix Scope RX for 82$. I know that the logitech keyboard is cheaper, but I live in Serbia, so there isn't options available under normal prices. I know also that for keyboards specifically, other brand options are probably better too, but not the easiest to find here, and I'm kind of lazy to google for hours for a keyboard under somewhat normal price that can be found here

I'm bummed it doesn't have a case because it may just wind up commuting with me to work. As a keyboard I REALLY like it. The keys are dished rather than flat like some competitiors, and that is a really nice feel. Ergonomically it is really working for me

-Because this keyboard is heavier, it is harder to recline in my chair to type from my lap and I know I'm not the only one who likes to lap-type. It refused to sit across my lap without sliding down in one direction or another. I fixed that easily by applying a strip of grip tape across the bottom and now it sits where I put it on my lap. (Maybe Logitech can take note and apply something to fix that with their future designs?)

When you need to sometimes you get these keyboards that are expensive, but they feel flimsy and a bit rubbish. This one really has a good weight to it...

The keyboard was weighted and felt nice. The cords are heavy duty and braided which leads me to believe the cords will last longer. The keys on the keyboard felt nice to type with the spacing of the keys was a bit compact for my big hands but my wife's hands were perfect for the key spacing. I would recommend this keyboard
