The Logitech G915 LIGHTSPEED is the best wireless gaming keyboard we've tested that's also quiet. This full-size gaming keyboard uses low-profile switches and keycaps, which feel comfortable to type on even without the wrist rest. It connects wirelessly using its USB receiver or Bluetooth, and it supports multi-device pairing if you need to use it in a work setup with a laptop and tablet.

The GL Tactile switches in our unit feel light to press and are quiet to use, and we'd expect the GL Linear switches to be similarly quiet. If you're looking for a quiet switch type, you should avoid the GL Clicky switches, as these will be the loudest. Since this keyboard is more premium, it offers some extra features like a column of dedicated macro keys on the left and full RGB backlighting with individually-lit keys, making your keys easy to find in the dark. Also, its latency is remarkably low, so even the most competitive games feel responsive.

Unfortunately, the software only allows you to reprogram the dedicated macro keys. Also, despite its premium price point, its keycaps are made of cheaper ABS plastic, so they're prone to becoming slippery from finger oil all the time. If you want the speed and slimness afforded by low-profile mechanical switches, the Logitech G915 Lightspeed is the best gaming keyboard you can buy. This is a premium gaming experience through and through. That means a row of G macro keys for leveraging during battle, dedicated media controls, including an epic volume wheel roller, and even multiple connectivity options. You can go tried-and-true wired, use Logitech&rsquo;s reliable dongle connection, or store the dongle in the keyboard&rsquo;s built-in compartment and use Bluetooth. This makes connecting to multiple devices a little easier too. 
The G915 Lightspeed has earned a popular reputation but comes at a price. Despite its $250 MSRP, there&rsquo;s no wrist rest, USB passthrough or premium keycaps resistant to smudging. As mentioned in our Logitech G915 TKL review, the smaller version of this keyboard is more affordable (opens in new tab) but foregoes even more luxuries, most noticeably G keys.

 That is low profile and compact trying to achieve. I agree with them, but I don't particularly mind it. The low profile keel switches come in three flavors with tactile, be my favorite, but a word of caution on the keycaps, because the legs could snap, which is what happened on my original 915. If you take them off and you're, not super careful, but the bottom row isn't standard anyway, even if you could find replacement key caps

 So if you're after that clean wireless look, it is the keyboard I would get now, both Mike and Eber have expressed how they don't really like this really tall forehead. It'S almost disproportional to what this whole keyboard. That is low profile and compact trying to achieve. I agree with them, but I don't particularly mind it

 Instead of a keyboard, so the dual angle, adjustment at the bottom is necessary for better ergonomics. They have smooth out the edges on the corner, so the aluminum is not so sharp. That is, improvement on the frame versus the original and they've also added a USB compartment. At the bottom to store the receiver, that is clearly labeled to avoid confusion, and this USB pocket is appreciated

 You can even hear it if I shake the keyboard. Yikes, the RGB illumination here is absolutely gorgeous and always accurate. What you selected a software. I like the option to customize the media controls and the illumination toggle to something different, even turn off the G for a subtle look, but RGB eats away at your battery check out the difference between these three settings

This Should Have Launched FIRST - Logitech G915 TKL Review

they finally did it people the G95 Tkl my prefer keyboard size from my

play style and I feel like they should
have launched this keyboard first

because of the amazing wireless
performance with Logitech Lightspeed

and given the insanely low profile
design that complements a small TKL

footprint on your desk I'm happy to say
there are several improvements on the

keyboard frame the packaging is now more
environmentally conscious with 88%

reduction in plastic battery life is
much better - but unfortunately my

statement on keyboard pricing from nine
months ago still stands true today I

don't know is it just me or a gaming
keyboards becoming way too expensive

definitely not just me because the G915 TKL will make your wallet suffer it

is only twenty dollars cheaper versus
the original and it's almost like you're

forced to buy the bigger one because
it's kind of such a bad deal to be fair

though the $20 difference between
full-size and TKL keyboards is common

there's currently no keyboard on the
market that is competing with the 915

lineup that is both low-profile delivers
amazing wireless performance gives you

Bluetooth as well comes in TKL and
full size options which is why this

thing is so pricey so here's my full
experience with a keyboard that I wanted

nine months ago
say hello to proper airflow would be

quiet pure bass 500 DX a compact mid
tower with a mesh front panel and three

140 moomin are pure wings two fans that
are silent and capable enjoy tasteful a

RGB illumination a Type C port and an
easy case to work in check it out below

alright so first I appreciate large tax
commitment to play green with better

packaging and I hope more brands follow
and now the keyboard it's basically an

identical frame to the original but in a
TKL format without the G keys on the

left
no numpad and profile keys have moved

into the F keys but the depth and height
of the frame has stayed the same it is

very low to the surface requiring no
wrist pad but once you angle it it kind

of reaches the same height as a standard
keyboard and I don't find it

particularly comfortable when it's
totally flat it feels like I'm typing on

my desk instead of a keyboard so the
dual angle adjustment at the bottom is

necessary for better ergonomics they
have smooth out the edges on the corner

so the aluminum is not so sharp that is
improvement on the frame versus the

original and they've also added a USB
compartment at the bottom to store the

receiver that is clearly labeled to

appreciated given the travel friendly
format the media keys are still rubber

and round with a cool-looking volume
wheel that absolutely has no tactility

or resistance behind it this is the
cheapest feeling element on this

keyboard however they've removed the
whole latency issue that I've

experienced with the original so the
volume adjustments in Windows are

instantaneous it still charges only via
micro USB so this is another

disappointment and actually none of
their gaming peripherals have embraced

type-c and the power switch has shifted
to the top right now I personally don't

mind the slightly taller forehead to
accommodate the wireless controls and

the intent wasn't really to create the
smallest dql keyboard either but the

thin profile and no cable is an awesome
desktop experience so if you're after

that clean wireless look it is the
keyboard I would get now both Mike and

hours not bad and lastly only the F keys
are customizable through G hub either

remapping creating macros or enabling G
shift that adds a second layer of

commands when the G shift key is pressed
but that also can only be mapped to the

F keys so it's very awkward to use but I
love the option to disable any key you

find annoying when game mode is enabled
and the reason why I have one in this

keyboard 9 months ago is because the low
profile nature complements the compact

footprint on your desk which is why TTL
makes sense and the gigantic full size G

915 doesn't as far as the gaming
experience goes I love this smaller

footprint on my desk I like the low
profile switches because the travel

distance is much shorter versus your
traditional full-size switch and my only

complaint with regards to handling of
the keyboard are the key caps because

they're not exactly fully stable inside
the switch and that's just the nature of

the switch and the key cab design but
they do have a bit more wiggle play and

motion that I'm used to
perhaps the wireless nature compensates

for that and the next thing in that I
would love to see from large tech would

be the same frame but with full-size
mechanical switches and potentially them

being hot swappable that would make the
killer wireless gaming keyboard on

so that is the G 915 TKL minor
improvements on the frame the the

smoothing out of the edges the
additional of a USB pocket however it's

still not budget-friendly but I would
say it is the best Wireless low-profile

gaming mechanical keyboard that exists
on the market many gamers have expressed

how much they want in the TKL form
factor and I'm happy that Logitech is

delivering on that promise and yeah it's
just it's just very expensive all right

Oh, and I also didn't like how the backlight settings are reset to default on every reboot, according to reviews and the manual. I personally don't need it at all, and I would like it to be able to turn it off permanently without having to use any bloatware, but that's not an option.

High CPU usage (by a smegging *keyboard driver,* even if on steroids), 100 GB written daily (say hello to your SSD) and all settings reset to default on every update, including all customizations and macros. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. It also doesn't seem to improve even by a slightest bit since like 2018. All of this according to reviews, but they are *plentiful* and seem legit.

I'm trying to find a new keyboard

 This is the excel, I'm looking for welcome the O 11 excel by Liam Lee. Stepping it up with upgrades all around for enthusiasts builds with perfect radiator, spacing in the bottom on the side and the top with now a slightly wider main chamber for taller, GPUs and rear exhaust area. The second chamber will hide all your cables and house hot swappable drives for a complete package all around this is the 11 excel by Bailey, giving you room to grow as you guessed it based on the intro. The price point, I would say, is the caveat and would be the main turnoff from the mainstream consumer market because of $ 250 it's expensive

 This is something you can do now and so the keyboard and it's full state. I feel like is a really good low profile example on the market in terms of the frame, the switches, the key caps. I don't appreciate the large form factor, I'd like it to be smaller, to complement the whole compact, but that's just my bias. Let me know if you agree my only complaint here with the key cap legs where one of them broke, and I don't know how I was very gentle with it and the replacements are not easily found and the volume wheel man

 The frame the switch and the key cap, many of you probably expecting pvt key caps for this price point they're not, however, they're extremely solid and sturdy there's no flex whatsoever. We have the main key that is shine through and it's beautiful nation because of the LED. That is right underneath it, however, the second characters are not shine through. Therefore, they're left blank, which is kind of nice, because there is no gradient in the illumination

as you can see here majority of people
prefer still full-size gaming ports for

sales for full-size boards versus TTL

are like 90 percent for a full sized
board from Logitech so it makes sense

for them to focus on larger boards that
people will actually buy instead of

catering towards the really loud
minority that want ekl including myself

and I am hoping that we'll see a

full-size makes sense in terms of what

on the low profile nature of something

like this because they've done a
fantastic job in terms of minimizing the

actual frame size at the bottom and that
is because of the new GL switches they

come in three flavors the
linear the tactile and the clicky as you

can see in this shot here we have the
low profile switch on the right and

height differences pretty significant
versus your standard mechanical switch

on the left and that is what allows them
to create something that profile like

the G915 or G815
these have been co-developed with kale

and it's great to have three variations
of this type of switch right at the

start but kale also has their own
variations of the switch that will

hopefully see more widely available in
other keyboards to this whole low

profile movement is starting to grow as
for the specs they all have a 50 gram

actuation force 1.5 millimeter actuation
point and 2.7 million or travel distance

and that for a low profile keyboard is
pretty incredible for your tactile and

clicky switches it feels really nice
while on the linear switch I'm almost

expecting for it to be a little bit more
travel distance because I'm guessing I'm

used to that as for the actual based on
the keyboard it is thinner than my

iPhone with a case on it which is pretty
incredible I do like the aluminum frame

and the little curved side lines but the
edges of the frame are really sharp so

if you're doing any flicks just be
careful with the thumbs because it might

be painful now some of you may be
thinking what's the point of a low

profile keyboard when the bass and the
actual footprint is so large and I agree

with you in comparison to my ducky 1/2
SF like this thing is like more than 2x2

size and that's pretty much because we
have additional G keys on the left side

we have five them so you can record
macros and stuff and the actual forehead

of the keyboard is pretty tall to
accommodate those additional keys like

your profile switches your macro key the
connectivity and the lighting and the

gaming key and just to give you a
comparison how thin the keyboard is here

is next to the ducky 1/2 SF which is
pretty low profile in my opinion and

here it is next to the apex Pro which is
like the larger and taller but we do

have two height adjustments on the G915
and it

puts it in the same height where the
back is to like your standard mechanical

keyboard it does give you a nice high
elevation toe for typing when it's

completely flat it almost like feels
like it's built into the desk but when

you've raised it on that maximum level
it gives you a nice angle of adjustments

and typing it's nice also because of
this you do not need the wrist rest

because the bottom keys are so low to
the desk that when they were trying to

see if you need the wrist rest it would
actually cause you fatigue and

discomfort so the desk is your wrist
rest I do like the dedicated media

controls on the right side plus a very
smooth volume wheel that has no

tactility whatsoever and it seems like
there's a bit of delay between when you

actually touch the volume wheel and when
that volume appears on-screen and

windows and you can play around with it
and see the volume wheel catching up to

whatever you set it to
as for the key caps they're incredibly

low profile and that is the third point
that made the whole low profile nature

of this keyboard so good the frame the
switch and the key cap many of you

probably expecting pvt key caps for this
price point they're not however they're

extremely solid and sturdy
there's no flex whatsoever we have the
