Logitech G502 Hero vs HK Gaming Mira S

For years, I've been looking for a mouse with properties that would prevent my hands from sweating. Few years ago, I got a G502 Hero and a USB fan for my hand and never looked back. I do some light gaming + wfh as an engineer.

As a palm grip user with 20cm hands I can say that this mouse feels very comfortable to use. The mouse feels very light weight and the paracord makes you forget that the wire isn't there. All of the buttons feel solid and the skates glide across my mat without issue. The grip tape fits perfectly and covers all of the holes on the sides

The scroll wheel is a bit loose even when locked down. (there is the rare occasion that you might unlock it. But if you use it for resetting your edits in Fortnite, keep it locked. You're welcome

These have great tactile to them, and also feel really crisp and solid, no mushiness in my opinion. These are a little stiffer than the main triggers ...

Had a decent build quality for the weight but it wasn't for me. The R/LMB had some over travel that feels spongy compared to my g502. I didn't really care for the overall feeling. I think because it's made to be lightweight it ends up feeling flimsy despite the very rigid build quality

Other than that, I have no complaints about it. To me, it's a worthy replacement for the G9X (which developed the dreaded double-click issue, thus the need to be replaced - funny that the G9 still works flawlessly after all this time).

Software pretty functional and simple. I did better on apex gettin around 2-3k damage at gold rank and 8kills ish. Good for tracking with the weight, can change directions of aim fast enough constantly. P much it

One of the reasons I do not like the G502 is the hump is too big. My fingers rest about 1 inch from the tip of the buttons. I do not find it comfortable at all.

I recently tried the the Mira S and it would've been great if it just had a shorter height and less pronounce back hump. For now I still have to main the dm3 mini even if it has so many problems and it's not even the perfect size, but is basically very similar to the model o- just a bit shorter and with slightly different hump position (actually I prefer the model o- since is more balanced) but the curve is basically the same. I know the xtrfy m42 is also similar but it's just as long as the model o- which is really disappointing.

The headset is a similar story: I'm looking for something that completely envelops my ears, has a mic attached by that little arm (Idk what it's actually called), decent bass, and a volume wheel and mic mute switch. Also, a 3.5mm jack is a must; batteries and latency suck.

So, instead of writing a review shortly after I recieved the G502 Hero, I decided to wait until now so I could get acclimated to the mouse and keep an eye out for any potential flaws or issues with it. First is the design: The design, while unusual, works fairly well. I have small hands, but I'm able to reach AND use almost all the buttons. Due to the placement, I do have issues reaching the G7 button without adjusting my hand to press it

The Mira-S and Mira-M have the same level of engineering. The best way I can describe them is "weapons grade" - they are extremely rock solid with no creaks or wobble anywhere. As you will see from the disassembly pictures the shell has internal supports that structurally make them robust. I can't emphasize the sturdiness of these mice, they're next-level

The reasoning is sound: this mouse is so good that Logitech has kept it around for years, and the upgraded Logitech G502 – as well as its wireless model, the Logitech G502 Lightspeed – gave us an extra reason to go back. The classic mouse design is still here, but with a new sensor to make it compete with the best gaming mice on the market. 

I have absolutely no problems using it in any grip style, palm (main), claw, and even fingertip grip have all been amazing with this mouse. Sensor: Pixart PMW 3360 A very good sensor from what I've read and seen. I've had absolutely no problems on different mouse pads, no spin outs, no tracking issues nothing. (I play all sorts of games but mainly shooters)
