The Razer Orochi V2 is such a fun mouse that exceeded my expectations (Review)

While it's been billed at as an egg shaped mouse, the Orochi is distinct that it chooses a shorter length and distinct asymmetrical curves. The left side of the mouse offers a countered groove to place your thumb which gives better control while holding the mouse. This mean's its not perfectly ambi but for right handed users I think that's a plus. The design looks minimal and it's just a great looking mouse in even its stock form

The [ ]([URL REMOVED] V2 has picked up quite a bit of hype since it's announcement as it fills an important niche of being both wireless and a smaller egg shape. While the marketing behind the mouse has made it unclear if this mouse is intended for laptop gaming due to its replaceable battery and small size, I'm happy to report that it functions quite well right out the box and should meet the standards of even the most hardcore gamers. I got my white copy of the Orochi V2 in today and have gamed with it for a few hours.

Size

Kind of small but not too noticeable

Overall, amazing, my only issue is the size. My ring finger grips the lowest part on the right side, and my pinky somewhat drags along the mousepad. Not terrible, but it happens.

Very comparable to the g pro superlight

Only buy this mouse if you have medium to large hands. If you do, it's very comfortable to hold and supports any grip style in my usage. The first week of owning it might feel like its stretching your hand muscle every so slightly, but your muscles will find a comfortable position after a week or so. Comparing it to the G pro Wireless, this is a very good mouse and I don't think (in usage) the G pro wireless is any better

Dpi Settings

Perfect for first time gaming mouse purchases

Prior to buying this mouse I was using a mouse I bought at Goodwill that was super old and didn't really offer good dpi settings, so this mouse was an extreme improvement in terms of allowing me to refine my movements much more and was a big help in aim. Of course this mouse won't magically improve your gameplay but it will smooth things out for you and be a good help. Recommend for someone looking for a gaming mouse for the first time.

Light, Medium Sized, Well Functioning

Now, this is easily remedied if you know how to work the software (which to be fair is not as intuitive as it should be). Quick how to: set all 5 dpi settings to settings which you use, and make sure only one setting is checked per profile (the button on the mouse swaps profiles, not the individual settings).
