The sensor has very low click latency, a wide CPI range, and a high maximum polling rate. However, it’s somewhat inconsistent, and the CPI varies a fair amount depending on if you're moving your cursor slowly or quickly.

Thanks to its symmetrical, egg-like shape, it feels very comfortable whether you're right- or left-handed. It also feels very well-built, despite its cheap price point. Its click latency is also impressively low, so even the most competitive gamers shouldn't notice a delay. Its companion software offers a good range of customization options, including button re-programming and sensor adjustments, so you can fine-tune the settings that suit your needs

I don't think palming or fingertipping will work well here, the sides flare out into a diamond shape that works very well for claw grip. It's got a hump in the back, but not a big one like the Zowie S or ZA, XM1, Roccat Burst Pro, etc. With those mice I often found it getting in the way for minor adjustments but here, since the sides work very well for claw grip, there's less emphasis in the back so I can still lock in that grip when I need to but if I need a little more maneuverability it won't get in the way. As for the scrollwheel now (how its SUPPOSED to feel), the steps feel soft, and its not as snappy as other mice. The tactility is now way down and it makes virtually no noise.

When it comes to texture, it has rubber with indents, I quite like the feel on my finger. It does pick up oils quite easily though, fortunately I don’t mind too much as it’s just the scroll wheel.

**Fingertip** and **claw grip** work **very well** with the size of the M42, for **palm grip** you would need to have **small hands**, at least smaller than 18cm, but to be safe I woulds say smaller than 17cm.

While it's been billed at as an egg shaped mouse, the Orochi is distinct that it chooses a shorter length and distinct asymmetrical curves. The left side of the mouse offers a countered groove to place your thumb which gives better control while holding the mouse. This mean's its not perfectly ambi but for right handed users I think that's a plus. The design looks minimal and it's just a great looking mouse in even its stock form

The Viper 8KHz's box has an interesting design: it's sealed by a single piece of tape at the back, and once the flap is released it falls open to reveal a cardboard carton that the mouse itself is held in. All the materials used in its packaging are eco-friendly, which is nice to see.

The [ ]([URL REMOVED] V2 has picked up quite a bit of hype since it's announcement as it fills an important niche of being both wireless and a smaller egg shape. While the marketing behind the mouse has made it unclear if this mouse is intended for laptop gaming due to its replaceable battery and small size, I'm happy to report that it functions quite well right out the box and should meet the standards of even the most hardcore gamers. I got my white copy of the Orochi V2 in today and have gamed with it for a few hours.

Still, it’s pretty good, and there aren’t many esports mice that offer the same level of ergonomic support.

Overall, amazing, my only issue is the size. My ring finger grips the lowest part on the right side, and my pinky somewhat drags along the mousepad. Not terrible, but it happens.

The shaping makes it feel a TAD larger than the RVM, but not by much at all. The narrowest grip width feels a tad wider than the RVM. If you are accustomed to the RVM, it will be a breeze coming to the Symm 2. The height of Mouse1 and Mouse2 buttons is a tad higher, and the sloping from the edges of the mice to the scroll wheel seems to be ever so slightly taller than the RVM (but you only notice when you look at it, can't really feel it)

However, that is only the case when the mouse is set to the default Performance mode in LGS. Another mode, called Endurance mode, is a choice alongside it. When enabled, Logitech says the battery life rises to a full nine months but the response time rises from 1ms to 8ms; in other words, an increase in latency is one of the trade-offs for conserving battery life.

When I used it with rgb on and 1000hz polling, I got around 2-4 days before I got the red flashing lights. Now, I use it with rgb off and 1000hz polling and I get around a 4-5 days when I'm on my desk all day or about a week and a half if more general use before I need to charge it again. There are some nights where I forget to turn off my mouse but I come back to it and there's still plenty of battery left. I last charged it about two days ago and it is still yellow to green in the software battery indicator

Prior to buying this mouse I was using a mouse I bought at Goodwill that was super old and didn't really offer good dpi settings, so this mouse was an extreme improvement in terms of allowing me to refine my movements much more and was a big help in aim. Of course this mouse won't magically improve your gameplay but it will smooth things out for you and be a good help. Recommend for someone looking for a gaming mouse for the first time.

Plus the dpi switcher can be turned off in software so it wont affect your gameplay aside from feeling it click. Aesthetically I can’t really say I am a fan of a big DPI button that says “DPI” on it though.
