Thanks to its symmetrical, egg-like shape, it feels very comfortable whether you're right- or left-handed. It also feels very well-built, despite its cheap price point. Its click latency is also impressively low, so even the most competitive gamers shouldn't notice a delay. Its companion software offers a good range of customization options, including button re-programming and sensor adjustments, so you can fine-tune the settings that suit your needs

The ergonomics are more suitable for medium to large hands, its definitely a THICC mouse and 100 grams isn't exactly the ideal for FPS but I don't mind it at all since the shape makes up for that. I had no issues adjusting from the 89g G pro going to this. Honestly this is probably going to be my main mouse from now on till I find a better shape but that probably wont happen. The LOD feels very short (<1 CD as RJN would say). I have experienced no spinouts or any other issues with the sensor so far. It’s performed great in all tests, with a stable feeling polling rate and great tracking.

I had been reluctantly using a G502 Proteus Core for the last couple of years, because I couldn't find anything else to replace my G500 with when it died. I was never really happy with the G502 though, so when I heard they were bringing back the MX518, but with a modern sensor, I jumped on it. It was a day one order for me. While it's been billed at as an egg shaped mouse, the Orochi is distinct that it chooses a shorter length and distinct asymmetrical curves. The left side of the mouse offers a countered groove to place your thumb which gives better control while holding the mouse. This mean's its not perfectly ambi but for right handed users I think that's a plus. The design looks minimal and it's just a great looking mouse in even its stock form

Candace D at Logitech has been stringing me along now for 2 weeks. I am currently shopping for a new mouse and keyboard. I can tell you 100% it is not going to be Logitech. I will not be buying anything Logitech from this point on

Between the main buttons is a rutted scroll wheel that emits tactile, bumpy feedback as you roll it. Aft of the wheel is a sensitivity button that allows you to change the tracking resolution, which ranges up to 12,000dpi.

This mouse is a bit too light for my preferences. I also dislike the build quality of the scroll wheel; it feels flimsy and is too easy to over scroll. I know that may sound ridiculous, but I like my scroll wheels to be a bit a weightier and require more force to move between each discrete position. This just ends up feeling imprecise to me—not that the scroll wheel is actually giving imprecise readings

It's amazing how that small minor adjustment/asymmetrical curve on the right side of the mouse made a HUGE difference vs mice like the UL/Viper mini when it comes to comfort and grip. The bottomline is, if you do grip the mouse like me, you probably will have a smooth transition to this mouse.

It's sleek, yet big (long) enough to comfortably fit my hand. It seems to have a very good battery life and offers smooth, adjustable moving. I don't use it for gaming so I can't give a review on that, but for general everyday use, this mouse is great!

When zowie started making smaller mouses i shifted to that, but now that razer came out with the viper and viper mini I'm lovin it. I also purchased the deathadder v2 due to the newer sensor, love it, but now im more shifting to smaller size mouses.

Prior to buying this mouse I was using a mouse I bought at Goodwill that was super old and didn't really offer good dpi settings, so this mouse was an extreme improvement in terms of allowing me to refine my movements much more and was a big help in aim. Of course this mouse won't magically improve your gameplay but it will smooth things out for you and be a good help. Recommend for someone looking for a gaming mouse for the first time.

What's great about this mouse is that you don't need the software if you just want to use it with the default DPI and button settings. The default settings are fine for me so that's what I did. Other than the bloatware I highly recommend this mouse for gaming and you can turn the DPI down low enough for more precision work too. It's not quite the same as the original MX-518 but it is a suitable upgrade worthy of the name
