The **cable** on the M42 is the **Xtrfy EZCord** ([[URL REMOVED] which is basically the same cable as on the M4. It's **very thick** and **not exactly flexible**. It **holds it shape** well and is also **heavy**, a **bungee** is a **MUST** with this cable in my opinion, unless you have solid DIY solution for cable management. With a **bungee** the cable is **fine** once you manage to find a good angle and maybe mutate the "angles" of the cable a little

Polling is adjustable up to 1000Hz, and some held buttons will allow the adjustments when plugging in. Huano switches activate the left and right buttons ,and they were light and crisp with a little click to them. Both left and right sides of the mouse include a forward and back button

super uncomfortable for me.

This mouse is very low and narrow, making it impossible for larger hands to keep off of the mouse pad. There are obviously people who like this mouse a lot I just can't comprehend someone with my size hand using this over something like the EC1-A. Also, Zowie not giving you the ability to use all the buttons on the mouse at the same time is a really strange decision. No software also sounds like a good thing until it's set up left-handed out of the box (a return probably) so I have to download a PDF just to find out that you need to hold a series of buttons on the mouse while plugging it in to switch from left-handed to right-handed which is just silly in 2019

Shape

Perfect weight thanks to a rechargeable USB Type C Lithium AAA battery. May be one of the easiest “mods” for the Orochi V2. Should last about 60 hours per battery. (Came in 4 pack) (1 gram less than Ultimate Lithium AAA Nonrechargable)

Skates - Orochi V2 has rounded pure PTFE skates. Again, perfect out of the box. Superlight has huge, lower quality skates.

Scroll Wheel

The **Scroll Wheel** feels weird. The texture is great, the increments are great, the click pressure is the best of any mouse I’ve felt as its ever so slightly harder to push down than the one in my Hati-S wired, but upon first impression like there is the tiniest piece of Styrofoam/ cheap plastic bag stuck in there when scrolling slowly. However, after scrolling for ten minutes I have now identified it as feeling and sounding like a very very easy to wind up happy meal toy from the 90s, which you had to wind up and then they’d start moving around on their wheels. At fast scrolling speeds this is not noticeable at all, and putting pressure on it to slightly reposition the wheel also does not have an effect on it

Xtrfy M42 in-depth review: a great modular mouse

The M1/M2 buttons are low profile but they do have comfort grooves in so they sort of angle upwards towards the front edge, I quite like the feel this provides. There’s not a lot of space between the thumb placement and side buttons but this means they’re very accessible and actually quite convenient.

Yea I am currently using the G Pro X Superlight right now and I ordered a Vaxee ZYGEN NP-01S this morning. I think it is a good mouse, but it's just a little too big for my preference for gaming and the side buttons are pretty bad imo. Today actually marks 2 months that I stuck with this mouse. I had to give it an honest try

Great performer

So yeah, overall I've given it 4/5 simply because ideally I would have liked it to be ever so slightly heavier and fitted for a right handed player, but of course, these are just personal preferences. I'm happy with the purchase anyway.

PERFECT mouse for using with a fingertip grip!

-No annoying third-party software needed to change the DPI settings. There's a switch on the bottom of the mouse that changes between a few different DPI presets. Once you press the switch, it will change the color of the lighting on the bottom, which indicates a different DPI setting. I forget the actual values, but they're easy enough to find
