My sixth-grader wanted a basic black backpack that would hold all her books/essentials since they don’t have lockers. She chose this backpack and was excited when it arrived. She immediately filled it with everything she needed for school only to realize she couldn’t zip it closed because the zipper had been sewn to the backpack and could not be moved.

It’s beautiful and well made. It’s rounded and more narrow at the bottom, so my high schooler’s stuff does not fit. A regular binder cannot sit straight in the bag, making the entire load cockeyed. Definitely size up if you are using this backpack for school

 Comfortable to bike with for short rides. It's really annoying that there are no bottle holders on the sides of the bag.
