My sixth-grader wanted a basic black backpack that would hold all her books/essentials since they don’t have lockers. She chose this backpack and was excited when it arrived. She immediately filled it with everything she needed for school only to realize she couldn’t zip it closed because the zipper had been sewn to the backpack and could not be moved.

 The pack did unbelievably well. I then decided to put it through real paces on a 5 day hike in Maine. In addition to my load-out I had things my 1 year old needs as well. The "Loadout" shelf worked flawlessly to carry extra stuff for my baby as well as keep things streamlined

Great Pack

I’ve had this pack for a month now, and it has become one of my favorite packs. I build trail professionally, so my pack has to be able to stand up to long hikes with heavy, sometimes awkward loads, and do so comfortably. It’s one of the very few packs that almost makes the weight disappear.

It sure has a lot of buckles, but it needs them to function as intended. Zippers are stiff, I’m hoping they loosen up as they break in. Other than that, I’m happy with it.

So far it’s great.

 Zippers are super handy to reach something without taking everything out. Fits a 3 liter bladder, no bladder included. Make sure you get fitted in store, they do have sizes.
