I'm looking to buy my first brand new board. Currently riding a really old Burton Custom i putchased without knowing how to even stand up properly. Its served me well enough, but the time has come. I'm 6"4 110kg. Size 11-12 boot. Was thinking of something like the bataleon Stalion? Would be steering clear of the park but the rest of the mountain is fair game.

 all conditions. Built for big guys who charge the whole mountain, the Skunk Ape

 features a directional shape, a medium to stiff flex, and an adaptable C2

 for control on groomers and extra float in the pow. First impression of the board

 was that it just looked like a super fun well rounded shape that looks ready to do

 just about anything. Today we had like a little bit of everything snow, we found

 some old pow, the groomers were soft and really good but a lot of the side pow

 was just chopped up and kind of crusted over and even in the choppy stuff this

 thing was stiff enough torsionally to not chatter too much but still playful

 enough to be real fun on groomers. It just kind of barreled through it and had

 plenty of backbone to like keep you stable even at high speed even when it

 was like really choppy and moguls so it did really well. I'd recommend this board

 for any bigger rider with a larger foot who's worried about heel and toe

 drag it's truly an all-terrain vehicle. It also you know while it is good at

 doing everything it's not great at doing one thing and so if I was looking for a

 similar board just to ride pow I'd probably check out the stumpy. Overall I

 can't say enough good things about the board it's definitely keeps your mind to

 ease when you're on the hill and just wanting to rip with your boys it just

 charges. Definitely don't have to think twice about rolling up to a little rock

 or cliff feature or any kind of jump it just wants to go and it rides switch
