The best TV you can buy that's available in 80+ inches is the LG OLED83C2PUA.  The only way to hear anything is to crank the volume up to max, but then you’re deafened when someone closes a car door or something. The solution is simple right, just go into the audio settings and disable atmos right…WRONG. Disabling atmos enables a huge intrusive banner to pop up covering half the screen every time you start playing anything. This notification says to enable atmos for the best sound, lol

 The problems come when you play back content with Dolby atmos audio. With atmos, all of the sounds become very muted, and dialogue becomes so quiet and muffled it’s nearly inaudible.  The remote I only use to setup the tv settings.  Using the LG AI sound feature, with the room calibration, the tv can produce some excellent sound with the built-in speakers. The problems come when you play back content with Dolby atmos audio. With atmos, all of the sounds become very muted, and dialogue becomes so quiet and muffled it’s nearly inaudible

We test input lag with an HDFury Diva 4K HDMI matrix(Opens in a new window) and measure how long it takes between when the TV receives a signal and the picture updates, which is vital for playing games. With Game Optimizer enabled, the C2 has an input lag of just 5 milliseconds (ms), well below the 10ms threshold we use to determine if a TV is among the best for gaming. This is with default settings in Game Optimizer mode; if you switch the Prevent Input Delay setting to Boost, the input lag drops to an incredibly low 1.5ms

LG C2 83-Inch Evo OLED TV (OLED83C2PUA) Review

Replaced my 65" OLED B7a from 2017 with a 77" C2 and I've been running it for a week as of now. The picture quality after calibration has improved over the older model. I feel the black levels on this device are far far better than the B7a ever were, which BTW required a lot of "tinkering" to get to what the C2 did pretty much out of the box. My old OLED had no burn-in that I could see, even after 5 years of daily usage, but the older OLED panel was never as uniform in solid colors test as this panel is, not even when the B7a was new

 I feel the black levels on this device are far far better than the B7a ever were, which BTW required a lot of "tinkering" to get to what the C2 did pretty much out of the box. Especially watching dark scenes now, there is no fixed pattern noise anymore.  The scene motion on this TV is better what the B7a has, which was already good, but it had issues with some stuttering under certain conditions

83" LG C2 - Spectacular Giant OLED TV

 What's up everyone, Beat The Installer here with my lovely assistant Jen, of course, my wife,

 and we have the LG C2 83-inch TV to unbox and set up and show you, you know, how good it is compared

 to last year's version and also compare it to the all-wonderful A90J Master Series OLED from Sony.

 See if you should buy this product or still stick for the Sony. So we're going to go over all that

 unboxing, set it up. It's got a cool new stand this year, so I'm super excited to get this out

 right. Let's take off the pieces here. Ooh, it's so thin. So there's some crucial Styrofoam here.

 One on the front of the screen, which gives a lot of protection. So, you know, no issues with the

 OLED. And then on the back here, it has another large piece that also houses the stand, part of

 the stand anyways, the front part. So we'll get this out and take this big piece off. Ooh, there's

 the TV. Thank you. And then we have the other piece of the stand, which is, wow, that's noticeably

 lighter than last year. I think the TV is supposed to be lighter as well. So let's go ahead and pull

 these out so that I can put the Styrofoam back on and we can lay the TV down. All right. So I took

 out the stand and the back piece here and put the rest of the Styrofoam back on because you have two

 options to get the stand on. Either you take all of it off and you find a table to put it on, which,
