LG 27GP950-B vs HP OMEN 27I

4K. 144Hz ips gaming monitor that we recommended for some time. This isn't the first monitor that lg has revised. They tend to do so on a yearly basis...

Upon doing this all hdr modes became greyed out as well as the vrr, and 1440p was still not there but 1080p. I now set the monitor to manually detect hdmi instead of the auto detect mode. It puts the monitor In 680x480 automatically but you can get out of it by changing the display resolution. Available display options were now:

It's an excellent gaming monitor with an incredibly fast response time at any refresh rate, delivering clear motion with almost no noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects. It has an incredibly fast 144Hz refresh rate, and unlike most of the other monitors on this list, you can also overclock it to 160Hz over a DisplayPort connection

Now I don't know if it's just because the refresh rate is a little higher or if it actually is blurry a little. Is there a fix for this or anything like that?

I may just be the unluckiest but I've seen others having similar issues as well with this brand. So if you could get this monitor without any of the problems I had, it's a decent monitor for its price.

The omen 27i had more moderate, acceptable bleed which is normal and considering right now it’s 100 dollars cheaper it’s the better value considering it almost being the same. Altough I switched to the new Odyssey G7 and have no regrets (mainly due to the fact I’m in a dark room and I couldn’t stand the low contrast and grey blacks from ips panels) I would reccomend the hp, would definitely buy again if needed!

Time. They also removed automatic input switching from last year's model for no good reason. Both of these featured *sort* of worked on the older 27GN950 after a bunch of firmware updates. This "improved" model has regressed in both of those areas to the point where it's less reliable than my $300 Dell junker

It's not a matter of taste, but rather of usability, since I'm really worried about the Warping and the sides of the Monitor looking Disproportionate to the content at the center of the Screen.

\+ Ergonomic for settings, menu's GUI is as sleek as simple, through a joystick (the best joystick i have ever use, it has less play than others, nice and firm click and directions), you got a sort of D-Pad shortcut, each direction for shortcut (brightness, source, color...) Really convenient

It is just not so frequent. The monitor mount is not in good design too. I order two of these monitors. The one I post here actually can't reach the same height as another one I bought

This has to be the cleanest monitor designs to date that I've owned. Would give slightly more than 4 stars but just less than 5 as there is a single dead pixel that would drive only me, a capricorn, nuts.
