Levoit Core 400S vs Blueair 7710i Air Purifier

We don't have any pets and clean the house once a month. Will our air purifier not help if our PM2.5 is already low?

If this can be remedied with a firmware or app update, I'll gladly give the two stars back. Air purification: We have a cat that uses the clumping litter, so some of the litter dust is inevitable in the house even with the 99.9% dust free litter from Dr Elseys. Our overall air quality isn't too bad, but since we spend most of the time inside the house (thanks Covid!) I thought this would help

Now, I wasn’t here to review Coway at all, but I couldn't give a review of Levoit's air purifier without comparing the two. Looking at other people's reviews about how Levoit's air purifier helped with their allergies and such though, made me feel like either I got a defective device from Levoit, or our allergies are actually much more severe than the regular folks with allergies. Anyways, given that Levoit gave me no relief from my somewhat allergies in comparison to the other brand that I bought and tried at the same time, I will admit that I would probably not buy Levoit’s purifiers for myself ever again. If I had a friend that just needed something to keep the air clean and somewhat help with odors, AND really wanted one that’s Wifi-enabled, I’d definitely recommend this though

My allergist's office has one of these in the waiting room, so I assume it does its job very well. The problem is getting it to do its job. Blueair, with this purifier, has gotten the hard stuff right and the easy stuff totally wrong. Set-up is a nightmare

My wife has allergies which makes her life miserable at times, so we were looking for something to help with that. It's always hard to tell just how much of a difference these make, but I do like it. We turn it up a bit at night for the white noise and increase air filtration. We have an older competitors brand that seems to register the air quality as worse when the dogs walk by as opposed to the new one makes very little change

We live in the Central Valley in California, which is prone to dust from farming, fire smoke and pollution from the highway. It’s like night and day in our house compared to being outside. Both kids have asthma and this product keeps them from coughing and from having asthma attacks at night. I just wish we’d bought it a lot sooner

My older purifier (2019) is a Bissell Air 220 which I have moved to the basement. This unit is remarkably louder but the loudness is more of a white noise and over time you don’t even hear it. It’s louder but a more pleasant frequency.

So much for Swedish design elegance. I'll probably invest in some kind of LED attenuating adhesive plastic, or just put a strip of tape over it. Anyway, it's basically a great machine that seems to clear the air very well, but I think that the engineers geeked out over the controls, and currently there is no visible sign of support.

I had gotten this unit during Prime Day and on impulse doing quick reviews on different brands before settling on this one. I got it for the bedroom and it is performing better than I had anticipated. The noise generated from the unit is not that high. I had hope it would run totally silent, (its not) but the air flow sound is not as high as one would expect

First, the good: the level 1 run setting is whisper quiet. Levels 2-3 are quite a bit louder but you're not going to move that much air without some noise so fair enough. It mostly does the job we need it to. The app is very handy and useful. The purifier seemed to work really well to eliminate odors the first day we had it but doesn’t seem to do as good of a job now about a week later.

I returned this and bought the Pro L instead. Fewer features but a lot more quiet and moves more air, that’s a win - win as far as I am concerned. Oh and since the Pro models are on now on sale it was cheaper too!!!

I got this air purifier during the pandemic and I am so happy with it. It is easy to use and it makes my room feel so much cleaner. It’s pretty quiet and I leave it on all day! I definitely recommend getting an air purifier like this especially for an office or if you live with multiple people.

We had no trouble setting it up and it is easy to operate. We generally keep it set on auto and it does its thing when I am cooking or something blows in from outside. Different color lights indicate air quality and we can see that it clears things out fairly quickly.

I’m not sure that is very accurate. I’m not going to reduce my rating based on the fancy sensor number and color that don’t seem to be valid. I’m going to see how well it works. The instructions say to remove the filter every couple weeks and vacuum or brush any large debris that might collect on it

These units are new to the market so time will tell if Costco sells replacement filters. Blueair customer service is in America so the reps are knowledgeable and speak well enunciated, articulate English. Well worth the money.
