My only issue with it is keeping it clean. I change the water and rinse it out every night, and I admit that I don't only put the recommended distilled water in it, only tap water. That is admittedly probably where my problem stems from, but I run this thing so much while it's dry as hell in Kentucky this time of year (winter) that I just don't want to have to stock gallons and gallons of distilled water, since it'll go through 2/3 of a tank in one night. I keep it set to auto shut off at 50% humidity, well within the recommended range and it still runs pretty much nonstop

Use a little juice from a lemon on a cotton swab to wipe off the scale. The acid in the juice will dissolve it. Then use a new cotton swab dipped in a baking soda solution to neutralize the acid and run the unit to clear. The swab was moist, not dripping

If I had to get another, I might try something different, but this one would be the standard I'd expect and I could see myself coming back to it. Cleaning is a hassle, but living well isnt a walk in the park.

I neglected to use distilled water and have tried my darndest to clean both the inside and top of the disc with white vinegar swab (soaked and let sit an hour), but can only get a very fine mist now and the top of the device feels warm like it’s working too hard. I love how portable it is and have taken just the unit (used cup at friend’s house) on trips out to Utah and put it on at night time (out of arms reach). Purchased mine in January 2019. Would probably still be going if I did not use hard water…

I love the scheduling function to turn it off and turn it back on. So helpful! You can set up for turn it off at the regular time you live home (M-F) and set up to turn it on within 40 mins before you get back! This save water and also exhaustive tank refills. BTW … refil the tank is a piece of cake, adding water to the top of the tank. I love the light off function and as well the app that controls the unit

This product won't work without the wick or a dry wick. You'll have to use a soaking wet wick. I poured in a full cup of water, please ensure the top part of it (with the led red/ blue light) never submerges below the water. Normally, if using the cup it comes with the grep top of the cup has a cover which stops it from ever submerging or used incorrectly
