 On two of the shades, the adhesive velcro strip has come off. I'm a bit disappointed by the build quality there.

 The actual shade is held on to the wire frame by tiny plastic clips and secured together with velcro. I expect it to fall apart if it ever gets dropped. And the instructions were missing pages 3-6, so putting it together was a guessing game, but not overly difficult without. Also not a huge fan of the cord just hanging down but used some twist ties in the package to secure it to the leg

Probably not worth the money

  FINALLY I got it assembled, and I have to say it is a gorgeous lamp, well worth the money. Plus I though I was buying just a lamp, but no, I was also buying self reassurance in the fact that if I am ever alone in the wild, left to my own defenses..

 I had to COMPLETELY assemble this lamp myself, that of which, I was unaware. I quickly read over the directions because, let's be real, I'm a woman and i dont take directions well anyways. So i looked at the just pictures and decided to put it together right then and there. I pulled all the pieces out of their stupid little plastic bags and spewed a few curse words

 I have no issues assembling furniture but it seemed ridiculous to have to assemble the lamp shade cage and wraps the shade Around it. I wouldn’t purchase again but not returning at this point. It’s extremely light weight so I placed in corner of office where dogs won’t knock it over.

I’m looking for recommendations on desk size and also specific desks. Currently thinking of going 72”. Looking to stay sub $450 on it.

In the process of putting together new WFH setup. Desk recommendations?

 The really killer feature of why I went to this was the double click/tap feature. It works like a charm, you just have to make sure you enable the feature in the Linak software. I use the desktop version of the software as it pops reminders on the computer when to stand. If you have the IKEA Idasen, you would be smart to upgrade to this as it would make your good desk a great desk with a high end feature
