Exactly what I was looking for: an ultrabook level laptop which can handle anything you throw at it! Thin, light, and sleek, but under the hood, packs a Ryzen 7 5800H and an RTX 3060 with 100W TGP, and advanced optimus (aka, the mux switch).

Overall, a great buy if you want a light laptop with excellent performance, capable of playing AAA games at maxed out graphics!

4) Corsair software drains battery: was surprised to see the laptop drawing >15W of power in idling, when the CPU Package only was drawing 2-5W. Tried disabling the Corsair services, and now getting fantastic battery life: 4-8W power when idling and mild web browsing, with occasional hikes to 12W during Youtube playback. Easily lasts more than 5 hours, and PassMark BatteryMon actually estimates 12-15 hours of total time!!

2) Powerful performance (Time Spy scores: 8125 GPU, 8912 CPU on performance); Was getting 70-90 FPS on Horizon Zero Dawn with all settings at max in native 1080p resolution.

The Lenovo legion slim 7 is a great product. It has a nice/responding keyboard and an efficient layout. The fingerprint reader is also a nice touch. One minor issue I have with this laptop is it's battery life

Got it too, as a result of getting sick of waiting for the Legion 7 with 3070 to be available in my country. The more i use it, the more I'm feeling is a really good value for the money. Got it on discount for around 1500 euro, which is a very good deal considering the laptop prices in my country now. Even more so: The European version comes with faster RAM contrary to the the slower ones, which are used in the US versions of the Advantage Edition and the Lenovo 5 Pro

 In most cases the 6600M matches or beats the RTX 3060 operating at similar speeds and in some games it even comes close to matching a 100 watt RTX 3070. As a matter of fact its 1% lows are right up there with some of the fastest gaming laptops we've tested. It's pretty obvious AMD is really trying to push the RX 6600M series as a more affordable alternative to the RTX 3000 series for notebook companies who are using Ryzen CPUs. HP Omen 16 Review - RX 6600M Arrives in a BIG Way!

 Earlier this year, I got to check out the Omen 15 from HP and I remember the title of the video being

 the best Ryzen laptop that you can buy at the time of course. The price was also pretty competitive

 but you also have to remember that that machine came with a Zen 2 CPU, the 4800H and a RTX

 2060 Max-Q GPU. Now there were some issues with availability and in some regions the specs that you get

 weren't necessarily worth the money. It was right around the time that AMD launched the Ryzen

 5000H series and Nvidia coming out with the RTX 30 series GPUs for laptops. So HP naturally took

 their time to update their Omen lineup and eventually announced this, the Omen 16, which is

 the successor to the Omen 15. Now there are two versions for 2021. The first one comes with an

 Intel CPU and RTX graphics and the second one, which I have over here, comes with a Ryzen CPU

 and a Radeon mobile GPU. So what does that mean? Well, it's an advantage edition. If you recall,

 a few months ago we evaluated the performance of AMD's RX 6800M, which is their flagship offering

 and it was very competitive with the RTX 1080 and 3070 series from Nvidia. This on the other hand

 comes with a lower-end RX 6600M. So we were really curious to see what it brings to the table

 but here's the thing. I had high expectations for the Omen 16, but I was actually a little bit let

 down after I started using this thing for a while. So let me explain, but first we got to take care
