Lenovo Legion 5 pro RTX 3070: $1959, Needs new RAM for best performance. With a 32GB RAM it costs ~$2130.

My personal list of best gaming laptops in various categories. Hopefully it’s helpful for those looking for a new laptop this year.

The L5P has already reduced in price in less than a week imagine where it will be after a month or two. Also availability will definitely improve as lenovo hopes to sell as much units as possible especially in the us & other american/european countries to equal the hype that has surrounded their gaming laptop line for 2021.

WHY YOU SHOULDN'T PURCHASE THE LEGION 5 PRO (L5P) NOW

 Its not functional. There are tons of dead spots on it plus it ghost registers 1 sometimes 2 finger inputs. I love this laptop but theres no permanent fix for the trackpad which makes the laptop underperform. Sadly im returning it this week

Run all games nicely on ultra settings. Fans keep relatively quiet to other gaming laptops. Decent thermals comparatively to other laptops.

 Sure the computer comes with the correct GPU and CPU. The description says it is at 3200mhz which it is actually at 2667mhz see screenshots. Not only that but I only got 32gbs of ram compared to the 64gbs I paid for. On top of that you remember the laptop saying 165hz refresh rate? That's actually an April Fools joke as well because both the windows setting and nvidia control panel both have it locked at 60hz and CANNOT be changed

 I just got myself for college a tuf a17 and as a pc user with a built rig ... the laptops wont ever get a grip in the battle for reliability or performance

I see mostly negative posts about Razer. is anyone actually haply with their purchase? (I'm looking at a Blade 15 adv 3080)

It has the RTX 3070 with max TDP of 140W. But it doesn't stop there, unlike my ex Asus Scar 17 (RTX 3080 115+15W 17" 300Hz FHD), this one also has a MUX switch to be able to disable Optimus.

Not only **the update ran without any confirmation on my side**, but **the battery is now flagged "end of life" by the computer**. Error code 2000-0132, validation 69064.

 In the search bar type "AMD Radeon Software" 2. Click the "Display" tab 3. Turn on "Custom Color" This will allow you to completely customize your display settings including color temp, brightness, hue, contrast, saturation. 4

 However, after adjusting the display settings in the "Radeon Software" app, it has the best display of any laptop I've owned. Granted, that isn't saying much as I've never had a high-end, creator oriented laptop. But these settings have made this display fantastic and plenty usable. I have no complaints whatsoever at this point

I spent many hours reviewing possible options for a 17 inch laptop and it came down to this and about 2 other options as far as value and hardware options. I was concerned when I first bought this one based on the reviews mentioning the poor display colors and brightness. Decided to roll the dice as it had the hardware I was looking for (SSD+HDD, Nvidia graphics, 120 Hz, great processor, 17 inch screen). When it first arrived I indeed was somewhat disappointed with the colors and display
