I'm practically throwing dust at it and nothing. Light stays blue as if the air is perfectly fine while I'm wearing a dust mask to help prevent sneezing fits. These filters made a huge difference along with a UV light hooked up along or coil but I noticed an immediate difference when I put this charcoal filter in I have had a problems dry air with our New Lennox System put in our old house and I think it moved stuff around that wasn't healthy so these filters are a life-changer and worth every penny

Allergies go away, dust, microbes, spores and more are filtered away and I (at least) can tell the difference between these and the poorly made brands that offer less than Merv 16.
