 has a lot of useful tools .. and more can be purchased which brings me to the part i call b.s

 So if im paying that much for the damn tool don’t skimp out on us and not include the pocket clip and make us have to pay another 12 $ for .. and especially don’t do that and call it a gosh darn replacement part.

The tool is great .. but the leather man’s business practices i call bs on..

Are those just normal for the bond and this tool is designed for super light work? Or did leatherman just dropped the ball on this one?

 Once I received the tool, I thought it was great and all until about now (3 weeks later). The tool is already showing rust spots (none on my wave after 6 years) and the 2 arms of the tools are really bendy. For example, if I were to apply too much torque while driving a screw, I get the feeling that I'd bust one of the arm off.

 The scissors are ok but smaller than the older version and a bit wonky. Knife blades open kind of tough, smooth blade was not sharp, and the pliers didn't close well with other tools open. For that kind of money, didn’t feel like what I thought it would be and am really let down.  Sent it back and ordered the Signal instead (lovely blue color with stainless tools)

 Blade is much smoother to open with thumb (flies open) and is razor sharp, has the perfect amount of tools for me, feels solid, lighter weight to carry and with 2 clips as well. I wanted the Signal from the start but hesitated because no scissors…well, I have a solution. Since the WAVE scissors weren’t that great to me and was my main reason for getting the WAVE, I will just carry a tiny Swiss Army keychain knife on me (keys, pocket or attached to sheath). Solves the issue and even adds tweezers to the mix

 The are very small and flimsy. Would love them to swap the serrated blade for the Wingman scissors which are not only bigger but the spring works better. Also, it’s heavy!  There’s a much better wire stripper, a chisel, a huge flathead which is essentially a pry bar. 

 The Wave+ scissors never worked for crap. I thought I’d miss the bit exchanger, especially carrying a sleeve with me all the time, but honestly I’d take the Philips on the Victorinox any day over that exchanger. It is long and skinny which means I use it 50 times more than I did the Wave simply because I can reach it down into the often encased screw. Good luck with the bit exchanger doing that

After about four years of daily carrying the Wave+ and two months carrying the Swiss Tool, here’s why I’d strongly recommend the latter:

 Do yourself a favor and go ahead and order one of the premium sheaths. It's a lot better. Plus, I prefer the snap over Velcro. Velcro is noisy no matter how careful you are

 So while we still have the same needle nose with your regular pliers and then 154cm replaceable cutters and hard wire cutters to differences that we need to notate here, the first of which is it has it integrates that that crimper on the top - and I could tell You from experience that that crimper is it's pretty much worthless. It doesn't do a good job because it's too far away from the fulcrum point and then it really doesn't crimp down well on a lot of different stuff. So it's kind of specific it does. Okay, if you're doing like a 10 or a 12 gauge butt splice connector

 I have the wave plus and the charge plus and that's the fact that it doesn't have an awl and to to put it all in here. You have to get rid of one tool and the one tool I'd like to see gone is the little micro driver not gone completely, because I would like to see him create a bit that would integrate it into the main driver. Where you know it's just. I think it's time for that, there's other implements that could go there

 You see how that kind of tends to want to slip out of there. So generally, what I have to do with the wave. It'S kind of give it a little bit of a flat spot first with the pliers, and then I'm able to pull it back there and then it will crimp in I mean, let's see if we can get that to illuminate a little better. So we can get a little better angle, then it it crimps down and it does a pretty decent job

 So it's kind of specific it does. Okay, if you're doing like a 10 or a 12 gauge butt splice connector. But you really got to put a lot of force behind it and, like I said, because it's far away from the focal point, it kind of doesn't work very well. Which is why I tend to lean more towards the wave and the charge plus, because they don't incorporate that that can also kind of get in the way if you're, using the needlenose

Leatherman Charge+ TTI

The Skeletool was my first Leatherman. That's how I finally came to understand the price.  Too much time and money had been wasted on cheap crappy multitools.  The Skeletool was useful, but it gave me a taste for what I could be doing with a multitool

Why didn't I know how much I would use this? My testimony, inside.

My Charge TTi blade snapped off so I initiated a warranty claim. Instructions ask to send the tool to a shipping company in British Columbia who then forwards it to Leatherman in the US. My tool was delivered to the shipping company on Jan 8, 2021. Finally received an email on Feb 2, 2021 that it was received in the US and sent for repair

 I forget where I saw where that was explained to me, but the waves are here. They aren't is jimping. These are here just to let you know what blade it is that you're looking at so let's go ahead and look at the main thing here. The pliers come to a really fine point: they're, really solid in hand
