 The driver is so off center, and the handle is so thick it’s terrible at taking screws out, the knife has way too much play and I won’t even use it to open a box, and the saw cut pvc decently but doesn’t have the signature file on the edge for smoothing out ur saw job which is a big disappointment. Overall tool gets a 2.5/5 looks good in my collection but is definitely not something I would carry or use on a daily basis.

Definitely the most fun to play with leatherman, and is good for a fidget and showing off tool, but lacks in the daily use ability of carrying a multi tool. The tips don’t line up, making precise uses impossible, the whole tool will flex and bend if you try to grip something tight, and the design makes it easy to slip and get pinched between the handles, this tool has made me bleed on multiple occasions. Not the best Leatherman, still neat though

 The knife is razor sharp and I like the idea of the seat-belt cutter and oxygen wrench built in.

When I first saw the OHT I had to have it, I have been a fan of Leatherman for a while now and now you can open it with one hand. Two small problems, first when the pliers are closed they are not perfectly aligned and there is a small gap to the back of the pliers when closed as compared to my Gerber. But it works well and had no further issue with that. Second, it says it is made in USA but nowhere it is stamped made in USA on the pliers like my original Leatherman that I purchased a while back

 I'm okay with my choice but this tool kind of leaves me wondering if I the $20 cheaper or more, would have been at least as good?  All said and done I would recommend this tool for someone to throw in a tackle box or would primarily use the pliers or if they have a need for the quick access of the pliers. The OHT is not bad but I just don't feel like I have a leatherman. I love my wave and the ability to change bits and the bit extender. The wave is my go to tool no way this could replace it

This is a great MultiTool. Build quality is outstanding and it’s USA made to boot. The one handed operation is a plus also. I am able to flick the plier head open with a flip of the wrist

 The 154cm wire cutters are replaceable, so have no fears about wearing them down and being stuck with them.  Two cons regarding the OHT is its bulk and lack of carry options. If you don't like having the OHT in its MOLLE sheath on your belt, you have only the option of carrying it in your pocket. Leatherman has not yet released a pocket clip that can be attached to this particular model (hopefully they will!)

  Screw drivers were very difficult to open but should improve over time. Very compact and box opener is a great addition.  Bought based on price - it was cheaper than the Leatherman but wish now I had bought the Leatherman.

An average product - but a low price

 The fit and finish of the pliers on the PS4 is perfect, even on this used example. The screwdriver blades are thicker on the PS4 and are machined with crisper lines. The Dime's are slightly thinner and just don't seem like they'd hold up to much use without twisting the tips out of shape. I don't care for the chisel ground blade on the PS4, but I don't really like the slight curved belly on the cutting edge of the Dime either, so that is a tie

 I do like the Dime's package opener blade and its bottle opener is better. The biggest negatives to the Dime for me are the poorly crafted pliers and the useless file which are two key features of any multitool. To me, the Leatherman PS4 Squirt is better even at roughly twice the price of the Gerber Dime.

Not great. Fortunately, for $16 and change, I didn't expect perfection.

 Might work ok if you’ve got a fingernail that’s snagging in something.  The bottle opener doesn’t give you a lot of leverage, but if you’ve ever needed one and not had one, this beats breaking a tooth or the bottle trying to smash it off.  The bottom line is, none of its tools are great - but due to its small size and light weight you can always have it in a pocket. No belt pouches required, no suspicious bulges in your pockets

Pros: small, contains a nice assortment of commonly used tools, cheap, good quality  Cons: not very strong, pliers have limited uses due to weakness  The dime is a much revered, often reviewed mini multi tool. Probably not the best tool for any job, except that you can have it on you at all times. Smaller than a pack of tic-tacs, and so light you won’t even notice it in your pocket.  The screw drivers are basic and meet the bare minimum of being drivers, the Flat head is obviously simpler and works fine

 - Made in China (PS4 is made in USA) - Quality is dodge / hit-n-miss. Pliers is super loose and doesn't align well on my first Dime, and fine on my second. Handle grinding is much worse on my first dime than my second. Spring opens pliers all the way on my first Dime, but not on my second

This is why I always avoid the pliers in all small keychain sized multi-tools. I believe such small pliers are almost practically useless.

More of a Leatherman guy but this Gerber dime is awesome. Great Christmas gift from my sister
