 This thing's fully loaded up with a bear can by the way. so that's what it looks like I Use a bear can so this is important for me I do a lot of hiking in the Sierras like 80 percent of my hiking. so having that extra padding there is awesome and it's not a huge weight penalty. This thing weighs like 21

 Yeah, size compression is just like this cord here. easily removable if you like doing that kind of stuff. I'm gonna keep this I use a gossamer here. like one inch 1/8 inch pad on the side for like a sit pad porch

 but then I got an additional 8 millimeters of padding on this thing for a total of 10. I guess I use a bare can. This thing's fully loaded up with a bear can by the way. so that's what it looks like I Use a bear can so this is important for me I do a lot of hiking in the Sierras like 80 percent of my hiking

 This bag stands up on its own, even with some stuff in the front pocket pulling it forward. The bag stands up on its own. The bag is actually balanced, really really really well, like i'm very surprised at how well balanced this bag is, but i was expecting this to be a full clam shell bag. Now this did come in very useful at the water park when i was hanging the bag up to get changed, take my clothes off and get my bathing suit out and put everything back inside the bag here without everything falling out now

 Even some ykk ones tend to stick, especially with bends in almost every pocket that has a zipper, except for the little tiny, useless front pocket and the laptop sleeve they're they all have bends. These are the only two straight zippers and they all work really really well. So that was actually quite impressive, because i thought that i was definitely gon na have hang-ups on them and i didn't i didn't - have any hang-ups with the zippers at all. They all worked out really really well for me now, on the other things and i'm a water bottle pocket guy, i prefer my packs to have them you'll notice

 So you can tell like you can't even you can't you can't even see it's a deep pocket, so this pocket could be a little bit smaller and tighter to accommodate things like your sunglasses, because that's what you would generally put in these lined felt line pockets. The next negative is right here and it's this front pocket. I found it kind of useless. I didn't really put anything in here

 It has these a bit of accordion pleats here that keep it from opening all the way, so this would be a half zip bag. Now i did not know this was a half setback. I thought it was a clam shell, based on what i read on their website, so i was a little bit disappointed when it came in like this generally. This would have fallen into the negative category for me, but the reason it's there is it will stand up on its own even fully loaded

You can get a lot of snow, so i mean you're going to have to do your part as far as like zipping up everything, but uag wants you to know that you're going to have waterproof zippers. So if you're in a snowstorm or a rainstorm or out hiking taking on those kind of weather conditions, just make sure everything is zipped, nice and tight, because if you leave a little bit open, obviously you're going to get some water in there but yeah. It'S basically a rugged wear resistant, uh type of backpack

 You got this zipper area right here next to the molded back part of the case. Let'S unzip that and there's my wife's laptop 16 inches. It'S going to be more comfortable with a 15 inch laptop, but you can definitely squeeze in a 16 inch laptop and we can take it all the way out and we'll put it back in and there you go and then we'll zip her up really quick here. Let'S get to the straps that are very nice and comfortable

 I love that orange stitching there uag brand name right there on the other side, very comfortable, breathable material, and then you have this strap here that sits across your chest and, yes, you are able to adjust that as well. So it's going to be comfortable. You'Ll probably have to play with that to find the right comfort area yeah. These are really really nice

 So if you're in a snowstorm or a rainstorm or out hiking taking on those kind of weather conditions, just make sure everything is zipped, nice and tight, because if you leave a little bit open, obviously you're going to get some water in there but yeah. It'S basically a rugged wear resistant, uh type of backpack. The materials are going to be able to take a lot. Obviously, we're going to have multiple compartments for laptop tablets and accessories and i'll show you what i have in the bag here in just a moment and on the back

 I ordered the bigger bag and for me it still wasnt big enough. It's big, but for the price tag and the descriptions I thought this thing was massive and it's not. The most annoying pocket is the one on the very top. I'm quick to just drop things in there and that pouch drops into the main part of the bag

Great customer service

The zipper that failed is the one that seals the laptop "sleeve" which was almost a full deal breaker for me and quite frustrating. But the main part of the bag has an internal sleeve so I just transitioned to that one and kept going. The bag itself is rather large which I've gotten good use from at times when I needed to carry extra stuff. The pocket at the top I get a lot of use out of for knick knacks and wires etc
