This one was easy and convenient, free shipping, came quickly and was new in a new, unscarred box that would be suitable for a gift, so I am not disappointed, however if you are minding your pennies and not in a hurry, you can save a bob or two by comparison shopping.  The plastic making up the lid is soft and brittle

 The actual roast and surface oils are all you risk changing/losing from un-ground beans. Store unground beans in a sealed, preferably vacuum sealed, container or zip loc bag.  But for the fresh herbs for two-people dinner, I actually have to use a bigger food processor.  Overall, it is a nice piece. I like the look and feel of it, and the price is reasonable even I only use it for grinding coffee beans. If you want to grind herbs though, you might want to look for another product

  It is not very easy to clean comparing to a food processor, because the base, where the coffee beans go into, cannot be rinsed under water. The instruction suggests to wipe it clean with dampen cloth. Since I could not figure out how to detach the blade from the base (the manual also does not indicate how, so it is probably not possible), I have to use a paint brush to sweep the inside. It is not a problem for us since we only use it for coffee beans, but if you also want to use it for herbs and spices, the sweeping can be some work

 Large bean hopper, which that's true, this is a very large bean hopper for a manual grinder actually. Dual bronze axle bearings, stepless adjustment, unbreakable steel conic burr, I believe that, I've looked at the burrs on the Lido and they're real solid. And then it also features an anti-static grinds jar or ground jar, and the materials of this are aluminum stainless steel and BPA-free plastic. And the Lido weighs in at about 1096 grams, so it's not too heavy, but it's also heavy enough that it feels good in the hand and it doesn't slide everywhere when you're grinding with it

So one thing I should mention is that I had to use a different hex wrench to loosen this screw right here because it was just too tight to be able to remove using the included hex screw or hex wrench, should I say.  fine with your coffee, and this is one I think is worth paying attention to if you're looking

 to do that, and if you like manual grinding, which I do know that some folks are really

 into that, I've found that I'm starting to enjoy it a lot more as well lately as myself.

 It is a manual coffee grinder, as I was mentioning, it has an integrated bean loading funnel,

 which is something I really enjoy because it's really easy to pour beans into this thing.
