- When using a particular program/preset, none of the physical knobs reflect the current state of the synth. However, it's not intuitive that you have to press Shift + Play for the "panel load function". While I understand that this is a limitation of an analog synth with built-in programs, I feel that there should be a dedicated "panel load" button. Certainly, it should be mentioned in more than just a subsection in the hard-to-locate online-only PDF manual

TL;DR I want something with responsive knobs and sliders that’s gonna be able to give me nice warm and interesting chord/pad sounds plus fat funky bass-lines and fun melodic runs.

-Waveform Visualizer; It's been an invaluable learning tool to have a visual reference for the sounds. It's probably not a selling point for those with more experience using synthesizers, but as a beginner this was a huge resource for me. It also just looks really cool, and makes the product seem more legit. -Price Point; from reading dozens of reviews and comparisons, and talking to veteran synthesizer enthusiasts and a few industry professionals, you're not going to find too many options as powerful as the Minilogue xd for this price

Seems to me that the prices have been going up as I've watched them over the last year or so. As for repairs, I just sent my voice card to a Chicago outfit who replaced all the voice modules with clones and calibrated it for around $250; shipping cost was just for the circuit board instead of the entire synth. Barring an economic collapse, I really don't see prices coming down for classic vintage gear, so my bet is that you would be fine flipping it if you could put up with the hassle.
