We would have preferred a slightly different control setup for the gain knobs, but that's a minor complaint. Otherwise, the Scarlett 2i2 is practically a must-have for upgrading your recordings.

- When using a particular program/preset, none of the physical knobs reflect the current state of the synth. However, it's not intuitive that you have to press Shift + Play for the "panel load function". While I understand that this is a limitation of an analog synth with built-in programs, I feel that there should be a dedicated "panel load" button. Certainly, it should be mentioned in more than just a subsection in the hard-to-locate online-only PDF manual

I love this interface and its available inputs/outputs cover all my needs as an independent home producer. I only have two complaints related to the design. First is that you have to use the Focusrite Control software interface which is not very intuitive - the manual needs to provide more examples of various setups using the software. Secondly, the four 1/4" TRS line output jacks on the back of the unit do not securely hold the cable plugs and two or three times a month I lose connection with my studio monitors and have to reseat them

-Waveform Visualizer; It's been an invaluable learning tool to have a visual reference for the sounds. It's probably not a selling point for those with more experience using synthesizers, but as a beginner this was a huge resource for me. It also just looks really cool, and makes the product seem more legit. -Price Point; from reading dozens of reviews and comparisons, and talking to veteran synthesizer enthusiasts and a few industry professionals, you're not going to find too many options as powerful as the Minilogue xd for this price

However, since I had it fixed I recorded several songs with no issues. Lord willing my music career will finally see some fruition. Is it worth the purchase? For the price, yeah it's a decide device. I do wish I would have gotten the Presonus as it has midi in, but I think if you don't have a need for midi this is a solid device that should last a while
