KitchenAid Full Size Dish Rack vs iSpecle 201 Stainless 2-Tier

We go through racks around here! Lots of dishes to be done and pots/pans. The design seems to be one that will last - we are really hoping the underneath part (water guide) will not crack up thought that must be a challenge with all the soap, banging and temperature changes these products get - eh? I like how the wire is protected by a soft coating that is fused with the thick rack - good design. The knife holder becomes more useful than constantly putting our knives in a drawer and is a safety feature (no pointy edges waiting). The hanging rack feature has its benefits too for delicates that just need to be hung away from the rest

This product is ultimately too cheap to make good on it's promise to resist rust and last. Its says it's 201 stainless steel which is more like the cheap shower tools that rust and get thrown away than the everlasting products made of 304 that truly last and don't rust. The drying rack is a bit narrow so the drying area is smaller than you'd think going from a more square drying tabletop rack. The rack comes in two parts and the problem is that there's an air gap where the two parts meet
