 Let me get my scale here and I'll go ahead and wait for you guys as I roll it out. The knife is sitting at 3.8 ounces, which is what they advertised the aluminum handled version. So that's good

 Now the handle is as smooth as I said, these are aluminum. It is a smooth surface. There'S not no jimping anywhere, but the ergonomics on it I'd say are pretty good. You can see

 But that's with me not sharpening this knife, I mean it's still here. Pop and sharp I'll show you here still here pop in sharp after all the years I've gotten on it see if you can see the HERA, so you can see the hair on the blade, I'm still extremely sharp after using it for a little over a week. Haven'T had to touch it up or strop it or anything. So that's a good thing in my book seems to be a great EDC, blade, great EDC steel and hold this edge retention reasonably well long term

 You can pick these up for around 60 to 65 dollars for made-in-the-usa knife, with stone, washing aluminum handles extremely strong and great ergonomics. A subframe lock deep, carry pocket clip. I think it's just a great design. Overall, it's not pinned together

If you only use your knives lightly, don't pry or stress them, and value something very lightweight, look at the Spyderco lightweights.

 The blade material is certainly not of the high premium grade that you might get with S30v or others, but this knife does not carry the premium price. This steel is more than adequate. It will take a razor sharp edge and hold it okay. The difference can really show with how long the working edge lasts

My favorite feature is probably how clean the knife stays, and it is very easy to clean the frame as it does not have many nooks and crannies. Best there is at this price point

 The clash is heavier, thicker, and not so sharp, but it has really solid lock up and it's blade deployment is awesome...shawak! One thing the Clash does have over the Knock Out, is a textured handle, and they at least tried to put a little jimping on the back of the blade for thumb grip because there isn't much of a thumb ramp for grip either

 I don't mean it will pop a few hairs off, I mean clean shaven bare spot! This knife is very thin, very lite, and did I mention, super sharp. Never had a knife do so well on the paper cutting test. I have attempted to sharpen lesser quality knives and could never achieve the fine edge this has right from the box. The blade deployment is swift and solid

 'merica!  UPDATE: I've had this knife over a year now, it has never been taken apart and cleaned, and its used daily in an industrial environment. All I've done is blown it out with composed air a couple times. It still opens flawlessly.  The only place the finish has come off are at the hard corners, but they are scratched off, so the finish is very durable
