This knife is unbelievably strong, resilient, good looking, and practical. It is thin enough to fit easily in your pocket, the clamp is so tight it will not slip out, and it will not ruin your pocket like the ZT Tactical Response knife (which has an incredibly rough G10 handle that is like sandpaper. This handle is much more subtle without sacrificing grip). It's also a smaller size than the ZT Tactical Response and in this case that makes it better for EDC

The only problem I've heard from some of the knife wizards out there is that they received this knife with a subpar sharpening job on the blade and it took them some serious time to get the blade to a perfect condition without expensive sharpening tools. Mine, however, was as good as any I've received from factories in the past. I did a small amount of supplemental sharpening but it has held a good edge (for practical much less tactical use) after using it for wood cutting and carving, cutting through aluminum cans, cutting nylon ropes and use in salt/brackish water without cleaning for a couple of weeks without any signs of corrosion. I even got sand in it and it slowed the opening mechanism but after opening it in sea water and shaking it around several times it cleared whatever was gumming the mechanism and started opening like a brand new knife

 overall it's a great light to medium duty folder, it's built like a tank and even though the liner lock may release under undue stress nothing on here is gonna break on you, being how thick it is it may be a little large for some people's edc, it's not gigantic but you may lose a pocket to her, the pocket clip is fully ambidextrous and supports both tip up and tip down carry adding to the versatility of the blade. I highly recommend this knife just be aware ZT's quality control may be of some question.

 The knife uses Kershaw/ZT's speedsafe assisted opening so deployment is very easy and smooth and has some real snap to it, I have some issues with my hands so this very nice as sometimes I just cant get a good pull/flick on non assisted blades. Great knife, solid build

This is a nice little knife, but it's more Kershaw than ZT. While it's shaped to resemble the monster 0300 series, it's more akin to the excellent Kershaw Knockout -- has the standard Kershaw pivot, a not-especially-heavy blade (which in this size is kind of stubby and little), non-shaped scales, a heavyish liner lock that is nothing to write home about, and weight that isn't justified by its capability. It's more a livingroom commando knife than a useful tool -- for that, you'd be better off with the Knockout. If you want to look bad and don't have the money for one of the real ZTs, then the CRKT Foresight will serve you better

Back to the price. Comparing the 350 to the RAT-1 is not really fair. The 350 is stronger, made in the US, and has a lifetime warranty. If I had to stake my survival on one of these, it would definitely be the 350

 Blade could be used tactically although not optimized for this (i.e., the point). Lighter than the 300 and 301 but will certainly be reliable! The ZT 350 is very high on the cool factor!!!

 This is one of the few faults with this very special ZT. The handle is too close to the opening studs on both sides. A lefty's problems are made worse by the thick liner lock. A problem might be the very tight clip - we shall see

 The G10 handles really absorb impact as well as dissipate any moisture between your skin and handle surface. One of my biggest issues with folding knives is the pocket clip, this is a non-issue for the ZT, the clip is very low profile and works very well. The design of the handle is incredible. The gimping in the handle allows for a great grip and more control during any type of delicate work
