 Not very sharp out of the box. Holding the knife doesn't feel best in hand. The price is low, so if your looking for something cheap it is worth a buy, but I personally would not buy again if I had it to do over.

 So, basically, as long as you haven't rolled over it or chopped it with something they're going to guarantee it for the lifetime of the product overall, it's a really really nice finish on the blade. You'Ve got a stone wash finish so you're not going to see you're not going to see scratches or marks very easily on this knife. I actually like the stone wash finish.  It'S 122 grams really light knife for a knife with a blade, this size, very nice and lightweight. So you can see if you were moving around trying to cut things up vegetables and all that sort of stuff. It'S very nice to use really really nice to use.  It is assisted, it's got a spring in here, that's how quickly it opens up. As far as the steel goes, these brackets are made with hcr 13 mov steel, which is a stainless good steel for sharpening it's going to hold an edge pretty well, it's got good edge retention. The length of the blade on this is 3.4 inches, so it's a decent sized blade or 8

 I’m a fan of the acid wash on the metal. The big deal breaker for me are these, the lock is not supported, it is an open frame on the lock side, with a bunch of material removed and nothing sandwiching it or secured to that side of the frame to maintain rigidity. 4 inch, cleaver blade. I don't know about you, but i love that cleaver style, nice, big chunky, big old, cutting edge on there. I just love how how durable it is and how much work you can get out of these blade. Styles, it's about 7

Kershaw Bracket

The only thing wrong with this knife is the handle length. I have small hands and this knife handle is way, way too small even for my hands. Nice Speed Safe Action, came very sharp and great lock up. Kershaw would hit a home run if they made the length of the handle longer

 The sheath has plastic dividers to hold the 3 extra blades individualy so there is no rattling and the blade edges don't get damaged. I don't typically carry this on my belt when I'm hunting as it is a bit bulky and heavy. I usually have it in the rear pocket of my vest or in my daypack depending on what I'm wearing. I ordered the gut hook blade from Case for $10

 All of the blades fit nice and snug, open smoothly and lock up tight. There is no play or wobble. Note that the filet/utility blade has no nail slot so it takes a bit of extra care to open/close that blade without cutting a finger. The sheath has the same high quality as the knife so there was no skimping here

  The one thing that puzzles me is why Case chooses to sell these in two different 4 blade configurations. One with the filet blade (actually labeled Utility) and one with the gut hook. I wish that they would just sell them in a 5 blade set and let the consumer pick the 3 blades that they want to carry in the sheath. Just add a few dollars to the price

A great knife.  This is my second one.

 If you are old or arthritic your hands may not have the strength to press the lever all the way down and hold it while removing the blade. Then repeat the process again to put in another blade. Quite painful for me. I can get it done but it takes too much effort

 Well made and sharp. Came with the gut hook as advertised. Sturdy and we'll constructed. Love it
