Kanto YU4 vs Klipsch R-51PM

I would recommend these Kanto speakers for people looking for quality above the typical desktop computer speakers. I would get the YU6's and purchase the subwoofer.

its really about the space you have them in and how that bottles up or frees the sound.

Speakers look good and sound great with my CD/Cassette recorder and player (Tascam) and turntable. Bought speaker stands (27” ht) to match speakers and organize cables. Speakers are very efficient and sound great low, mid and high volume settings. Very decent bass for speakers of this size

These have a fairly modern bluetooth implementation, including aptx, which is necessary for decent wireless sound. It was between these and the peachtree m24, but the m24 does not have aptx. They pair very easily, have easy to use controls. Construction/build-quality seems perfect

This product is packed with features; however, when it comes to the sound these put out I would describe them as lifeless. The bass is not tight and has a loose feel while the mids and highs are no better than a portable Bluetooth speaker. I mainly bought these for an apartment figuring with the 4" speakers these would be better suited for low to mid volume levels with decent sound quality. Ill keep them because of the features and they look great, but as soon as I get a bigger room space out of an apartment these will be nothing more than decorations

I did try with the built in Dynamic Bass EQ in both settings: on and off. Just not a full, correct sound either way. The frequency balance seems off. I switched the Klipsch to LINE and enabled the phono stage built into the 120x turntable instead and it sounds MUCH, MUCH better
