JanSport Fifth Ave Fanny Pack vs Peak Design Tech Pouch

Buy it if you want a good quality decently sized fanny pack so that your pockets are not always clutter. It's why I bought it and I am happy to have done so.

I love the look, the organization and am happy that my Dad will finally stop calling me a noob.

Otherwise the bag has been extremely durable; even though I occasionally stuff it quite full, I've never had problems with the seams or zipper, and the fabric does not appear worn or faded.

Under $600, I could buy used if possible, I just don't want to carry anything with me that's uber expensive so that if it does get stolen, it's replaceable.

Beyond aesthetics, this pack is also well-made and durable with a narrow, highly adjustable waist strap. The design is versatile, as the pack can be worn like a sling bag or around the waist. When worn in a traditional way, the JanSport is low-profile and doesn't bounce around when walking. Plus, the Fifth Ave is one of the more reasonably priced packs in this review, adding to its appeal

The Peak Designs is clearly made a little better and the material is nicer, the Peak bag has side pulls and for me that was very important in my backpack. The Mizatto is every so slightly bigger, material is good, but has a very generic nylon look, although the Mizatto had two zipper pulls instead of one, an RFID pocket and comes with a strap and waist belt that would cost even more money from Peak Designs. For less than half the price the Mizatto bag does it all, and adds an RFID pocket on the outside the Peak Designs bag is lacking. For me the Peak Design bag is perfect because it fits as it should in my Peak Designs EDC 30L backpack and it is easy to pull out with the side pulls and I didn’t miss the RFID pocket for the way i travel, if I had a different backpack the Peak Designs bag would go back to Amazon and be replaced with a Mizatto

While they are perfect for carrying a light lunch, a book, and a beach towel, I’d never use them for a full heavy load.

Has two pockets, the main large pocket, and the smaller front pocket. Both have ample room and easily carry my wallet, keys, sunglasses, chapstick, etc. The belt part is comfortable and easily adjustable. I highly recommend this pack for anyone who wants to be comfortable and have an easy way to embarrass your teenagers while walking around the mall shopping for a homecoming dress

I'm being picky, but when I reach into my backpack, I'm always grabbing the pouch by the top to pull it out and it is sometimes a little tough to get a grip on it. A strap similar to those on the bottom would allow me to hook my fingers on it an pull it out with ease. So I guess it's only 99% perfect!
