iRobot H1 H121020 vs Black+Decker dustbuster AdvancedClean+ Pet

It's a nice easy to use vaccum for light duty cleanup. We use it to cleanup cheerios and such the baby spills. It works fine. At this price point it's as good as it gets

I bought this hand vacuum in December and it was a handy tool for me with two cats in the house. About a month ago, I charged it up as usual and now the speed is on super duper high on the lowest setting. It sounds like the battery is about to explode. I just want it to work! It was affordable but why should I have to buy a replacement within a year?

The iRobot H1 is a cordless handheld vacuum. It's well-built, easy to move around, and offers great overall performance on low and high-pile carpet. Depending on your usage habits, it also has a relatively long battery life for a handheld vacuum. However, it's somewhat demanding in terms of regular maintenance and incurs a couple of recurring costs

The best test was on my car where the pet hair is really hard to remove and it had no issue removing the matted down dog hair. I also found it worked well on my dogs bed and the carpet on my cat tree. It lasted long enough for me to vacuum my dogs bed, cat tree and entire car so I would call that good battery life. My only complaint is that it does not get in small spaces

Handy with good suction power. The extension hose would be a very useful feature if one could attach the brush head to it. Not being able to do so is a serious design flaw considering how much this vac costs. Couldn't get everything to fit in the pouch, either

This dustbuster stayed charged for quite a few uses before I needed to charge it again. I like keeping this on hand for not just pet messes, but also small messes in the kitchen. I prefer the stronger setting, but like that there's a lower setting to help conserve the battery. Love the design, how easy it is to use, how lightweight it is and that it also perfroms well

I got this knowing that the suction would.. suck. But it looks REALLY good next to my espresso machine

You would likely be able to vacuum two (or maybe) more sets of stairs on one charge if you wanted to, even on high power. I think it has good suction and picks up a lot of dirt, dust, and cat hair with the pet bristles. It's easy to clean and care for, except after dumping the dirt/hair, you do need to clean off the filter to make it efficient for the next use, but that's typical for vacuums. The main problem I have with it is that it is not very ergonomic

The omission of a charging brick is usually done to keep the costs down. However, the product description does state that you can use the 5w or larger bricks that you use to charge your iPhone, iPad or Android devices. The other complaint concerns the build of the filter. I have to admit, I don't know anything about it and I am concerned about one review that attacks the flawed design of the inner filter

Both cords look like what used to come with Casio calculators and any Coleco handheld game in the 80's. Cheap looking, and flimsy, but they do the trick. +Everything sticks to the filter that is at the "core" of the dust bin, so you must pull the filthy lint from it with your fingers. Yuck! +The rotary head has two plastic "fins" or "pegs" that straddle the vac head and serve to support it while is it slid onto the vac

However if Eufy isn't willing to revise the filter to make the product actually functional, I'll be returning it as well as revising this review accordingly. I get the impression that Eufy is a company that will work to improve their product, especially when it only involves changing one small disposable part, so I hope I'm not wrong on this. But for now, I can't recommend this to anyone, as it is right now. I do hope I can change this recommendation in the coming weeks, as I really like it, if it would seal

However, it does have a much longer maximum battery life of nearly half an hour and a larger dustbin that shouldn't need emptying quite as often. It also has an adjustable suction power setting to increase its suction power. It's worth noting that running it continuously in its most potent 'Boost Mode' setting drops its runtime to a little over 10 minutes. It comes with a miniature turbo brush, and you can pull out its built-in suction nozzle to function as a short extension wand/crevice tool

I bought this vac for the ease of charging and use. It does a decent job on small jobs, but the canister is quite small and has to be emptied more frequently than I would like. I do like the vac and feel it meets the majority of my needs.

I admit that I won't use valuable time to review those purchases/products that are what I call the "In Between Great & Horrible Products", meaning not great, but not horrible. That being said, in the short period I've had this hand vac I am extremely pleased. YOU GO BLACK & DECKER, FOR A JOB MORE THAN WELL DONE!!! First, I love the design of the hand vac over all, it stands very firmly on the end opposite of the handle while charging, or you could lay it down if need be, because there is no bulky cradle used for charging as many other hand vacs have. It's very light to hold and maneuver and feels natural to use (even for someone that has physical limitations or back, hip, shoulder problems such as myself with fibromyalgia, bursitis, si problems, advanced arthritis, and carpal tunnel), as well as how easy it is to use the 2 accessories
