 And also another very important thing to know because I have this question come up all the time and I've noted them in my other how-to tutorial videos. and how to use the pot is that when you hit the pressure cook button here and let's say we adjust the time - I Don't know what to say. We're gonna go for 25 minutes. Whatever you want doesn't matter what it is, you have to wait 10 seconds and then it's gonna start and then what happens After 10 seconds the display is gonna switch to saying on

 The version two is the manual in the version, three is the pressure cook and it's located over here and you're going to adjust the time using the plus and minus buttons to the time desired and then the keep warm cancel to change things out, and of course the over button. And when you hit saute, you're all just by hitting the adjust button. It's that simple. all right

 That's the whole point. They come right off and you can clean them, just make sure when you put them back on they're nice and secure. Got that? Perfect! So these pots are basically identical and I happen to really love both of them and if I'm gonna pick one honestly I'm gonna pick the duo. Plus because you know what, it's the newer model

 So we hit the manual button or the pressure cook button depending on your model and then we adjust the time using these plus and minus buttons. Let's say we want to go for seven minutes I just hit the plus button wherever I am with a minus button if I'm higher to make sure we are at seven minutes and again after 10 seconds. If not doing anything it's gonna turn right on and start its processed. Now coming back here let's say we want it to be on lower pressure

 So because this is six minutes, it's gonna be like every minute and a half or so then it's gonna hit a new notch. If it was eight minutes, it would be every two minutes. And now that we're done pressure cooking, we're gonna perform a quick release And you see, we're also in the keep Warm setting. Now in terms of the graph on top, and that's because we have this always lit

 Now we'll come back down to the control panel. We're gonna hit the cancel button here. Remember hitting cancel and when it says off is like going to the home screen. That's how we switch gears

 We have a lid now where instead of having the release on the nozzle itself, the little way to do it there, some people like to take the spoon and do it because they don't want to get too close to it. You get used to it. After one or two tries. You can now just do it right over here so you don't have to actually touch it

  I have used an Instant Pot for at least 5 years and will continue to do so. I love this product.

They asked me to write a review on their site, but I couldn't find a spot to do so, so I am writing a review here.  So I'm going to turn the steam release handle to release the pressure now. So now I'm going to use one of the new programs to hard boil some eggs. So hard boiled eggs use the steamer rack, one cup of water, and the eggs. Then you close the lid and make sure the steam release valve is set to closed

 This is the new Spring of 2017 model that is an upgrade of the Instant Pot Duo 60. I ordered this from Amazon two days ago and it just arrived. I purchased this myself. I didn't receive this as part of a promotion or in exchange from my review

 Slow Cooker Mode had a low, medium and high heat button. IP has a + and - sign to increase or decrease the time. Others you have to select a preset and keep pressing to increase, you can't decrease time. Overall ratings - IP 4

 Lots of issues with lids locking, not pressurizing etc and I really don't see this for the Instant Pot family of PCs.  **Sizing - I measured my crock pot which was 6 quart, so that's what I ordered. It's an OK size for 2 people, but since you can only fill it 2/3 full when cooking under pressure you should take that into consideration. I figure on a roast, I will do the meat first, then veggies

Lastly, we think the Mini's 2-foot power cord is too short. Electrical outlets in dorm rooms or older homes and apartments are few and far between. A longer cord would give this model greater range and functionality.

Love Your RV

I love my instant pot, I have the 6 qt and now I just got this 3 qt. I use my 6 qt for my soups and main meals and I've been using the 3 qt to make yogurt and will be using it to steam my veggies when I'm cooking something else on my 6 qt one. I recommend the instant pot to anyone it's awesome as it saves you time and it's so easy to use. I haven't use my rice cooker nor my slow cooker since I bought my first instant pot three years ago!

 What lid? I dug the box out of the trash & double checked. There was no lid. I then read some additional reviews & learned that it doesn't come with a lid! What??? It's a slow cooker!! No lid? It works great for pressure cooking but I bought this because it says it's useful for several things. I intended to get rid of my 3 Crockpots, steamer & 2 pressure cookers but it doesn't have one of the essential pieces

 Nice, heavy stainless steel cooking bowl, pretty heavy duty bottom on it. Okay so the build quality looks pretty good on it. It says getting started, place steam release handle on lid, install condensation collector, back a cooker and they want me to put in, do a test run with three measuring cups full of water. Let's try that again

 Here's the yogurt. You can delay start it so you know you want to set it, you go out and when you come back everything is ready, you've got saute and slow cook and pressure cook. There we go I just guess it finished its two minute cycle, now it's in the keep warm mode. So now we'll just cancel that and I think from the instructions you're supposed to turn this thing over to venting, to use gloves or something

 Okay so let's see what, looks pretty good, looks pretty good, steamy, so we'll get those out of there and put some more sauce on them and get them on the barbeque, what do you think of that beagle, oh yeah, okay let's coat it with a little more sweet baby raisin on there, let them heat up and caramelize a bit and get all yummy, yeah, someone's losing their little beagle mind over there, oh my god, smells so good, yeah so they're literally just falling off the bone, they're going to be so yummy. Those turned out excellent, oh so good, hands out on her boat right now, wait until she comes home, got some tasty rubs, anyway so far so good with the instant pot, it's a hit with me, what I'm going to do, rather than get too much into an in-depth review, it's been done a thousand times on the internet, but what I'm going to do is do some tests with my inverter, this model says it puts out 700 watts or needs 700 watts to run, my inverter is a thousand watts so I should be able to test with my inverter and I'll test on maybe one of these 30 minute pressure cooking cycles and maybe I'll do like you know a four hour or so slow cooker cycle and I'll unhook all my charging, my charge converter and my solar panel so I'll start with 100% battery power and we'll see how many amp hours I lose running the old instant pot here, it'll be an interesting test, so stay tuned for that, until next time, oh I've got to give the beagle some, she's been losing her mind like crazy, a little bit of beagle stuff here, there, some of this gooey stuff, there you go, okay beagle, wait, ah, no, wait, sit, sit, good girl, sit pretty, there you go, speak, speak, speak, that's your best speak, speak bigger, lay down, okay, okay, yes, I'll have to see if the beagle approves of it, yeah I'm thinking it gets the beagle approval, definitely, until next time, Ray from loveyourrv.com, cheers everyone.

First Try at Using my New Instant Pot DUO Mini

 Main reason I picked this up is I wanted something to build a cook meals in during the summer

 You know when you have to run your air conditioning it gets really hot and you can't use the gas

 I really love cooking with the gas oven and using the gas cook top.
