Size

Awesome - few complaints but still happy

-The inside tracks where you remote the tray scratch really easily and within 2 weeks looked not so great. It's aesthetic so it's not a big deal but still kind of annoying. -It's a BIG countertop appliance- make sure you really think about the measurements and how you need some space around the back/sides/tops for venting. I only have so much counter space and this definitely earns its keep, but you gotta be ready to commit to something this large

Terrific product but round shape seems limiting

First thing I noticed is while it is an amazing device it just seems too small for some things. Some bloggers said they bought one this size but then got a bigger one, and I see the square ones in lots of pics on Pinterest! the fact is you can fit more in a square shaped air fryer, and that is what I need apparently.

Nonstick Surface

luving it UPDATE: not happy with the bottom "drip pan" losing its non stick coating after only a half dozen or so uses/washings only using liquid dish soap, water and soft sponge!

One of my favorite appliances, but a few drawbacks

- It's non-stick, but I've had the hardest time cleaning it. The oil that comes from the food sticks on and is almost impossible to wipe off. Maybe I got a defective unit for it? The only way I can get it off is with my fingernail, but that would take over an hour to clean each time. If anyone has a suggestion for cleaning, I'll gladly take it

Be Forewarned...

Like, the kind of hot where you're afraid to leave the room for fear your kitchen will catch on fire. Annoyingly, the machine has vents on multiple sides, but if you air fry or roast, ALL the hot air comes out in a concentrated column that shoots straight up. With the Vortex fryer, the hot air shoots straight BACK, meaning it expels into your wall or backsplash. So if you only have space in your kitchen under cabinets, be aware

Baking

The oven looks very good and it is very easy to clean there are 3 reason why I give this item 4 and not 5 stars 1) I wish the screen to select the option was a little smaller to make the inside slightly more roomy 2) you have to adjust the baking to lower temps as it seems to be very powerful 3) the manual 🤦🏻‍♀️ is missing a lot of good informations that you will have to end up finding on you tube or Google. The machine performs well though. I heard Instant pot has a great costumer service and by comparing all the other reviews I’ll rather deal with point number 1-2 and 3 rather than exploded front door, melted components and failure to function appropriately. I hope this review will help someone to make their mind

Money well spent!

All accessories (cake pan, pizza pan, etc.) and the parchment liners I looked at and ultimately purchased were 7+" and "round." Plenty of room for air circulation and easy to add to and remove from basket. Plus many of my existing oven baking dishes and pans will also work

This machine is fantastic

We eat more chicken and fish without the fat and get them as crispy as we want. I have lost more than fifty pounds, my husband has lost forty, and this machine was a huge help. For us it was worth the investment for our health and convenience and for the energy it saves. Remember this machine cooks approximately 25% faster than your oven

Easy, fast and convenient!

But now he's using it daily and ready to retire his deep fryer. This is so much cleaner, healthier and.. faster

Frying Basket

The basket design is awesome because it lets the air circulate and gets everything really crispy without having to shake it all the time. It is also easier to clean. I made some chicken wings (the ultimate test) and they came out so crispy and delicious without having to shake them at all. Things that are awesome about this machine: I can see in with the light and window The basket lets me spread out the food for better browning It cooks really fast If I had any cons it would be that the machine is large

BEST air fryer we've had (of three different ones)

This is the third air fryer we've had, and we LOVE it! The first one we had (which we thought we loved until we got THIS one) had vents in the front of the air fryer basket. When we dumped out the food, if grease had accumulated in the bottom, it dumped all over. This one has a solid basket so grease doesn't dump out unless you turn it fully upside down. Also, the slotted bottom insert that allows air to circulate under the food stays in and doesn't dump out with the food

Cooking Time

READ WARNINGS, terrible burning plastic smell and bad instructions, even months later

Third, the manual doesn't really seem to have correct cooking times. To be fair, my George Foreman Grill isn't perfect on that score either. I used it once, so Im not returning it right away, and will write more, if, as and when my thoughts change, including if I decide to return it.
