 Welcome to A View To A Grill, I'm Johnny and today we're going to be talking about the Inkbird iBBQ4T Wi-Fi Thermometer. In my other videos you'll see that I already use the Inkbird iBT4XS Thermometer and I absolutely think that the iBT4XS is the best thermometer out there for the money that you give for it. Today we're going to be unboxing and setting up the iBBQ4T. First thing out of the box is the iBBQ4T main unit and then there's a smaller box with more stuff in it

 There are four spaces for thermometer probes. Each one of these have a watertight plug just to keep the moisture out of the main unit and on the bottom there are four little grip pads. On the top you'll find the port for your recharging cord and that also has a rubber plug to help prevent moisture from going in the top. The two grate clips have these holes for different sizes of thermometer probes

To fix that all you have to do is go to settings and then touch the temperature unit toggle. Inkbird IBBQ-4T WiFi Thermometer Unboxing and Setup

 Welcome to A View To A Grill, I'm Johnny and today we're going to be talking about the

 Inkbird iBBQ4T Wi-Fi Thermometer. In my other videos you'll see that I already use the Inkbird

 iBT4XS Thermometer and I absolutely think that the iBT4XS is the best thermometer out there for the

 money that you give for it. Today we're going to be unboxing and setting up the iBBQ4T. First thing

 out of the box is the iBBQ4T main unit and then there's a smaller box with more stuff in it.

 In the smaller box you'll find four meat probe thermometers and notice there is no blunt

 ambient probe thermometer. You'll also find some handy documentation. Next you'll find two

 thermometer grate clips and finally a charging cord. Now I also purchased the carrying case

 for the thermometer. You can use the box for a storage container just like I used the box for

 the iBT4XS as a storage container but this gets pretty banged up and kind of disgusting looking

 and it's not always the easiest thing to open. So that's why I went with the carrying case.

 The carrying case has a nice spot for the main unit along with this storage pouch in the lid

 for all the other parts of your thermometer. On the face of the main unit you have the display

 panel along with the power button. There are four spaces for thermometer probes. Each one of these

 have a watertight plug just to keep the moisture out of the main unit and on the bottom there are

 four little grip pads. On the top you'll find the port for your recharging cord and that also has

 a rubber plug to help prevent moisture from going in the top. The two grate clips have these holes

 for different sizes of thermometer probes. And last you have the recharging cable which I generally

 use a recharging block to charge those. These are also a great thing to have when you're barbecuing

 because you can actually recharge the device as you're using it. So if you don't have one of these

 I'd really recommend that you grab one. I have the link below if you're interested in it. And

 finally we have four meat probes. In this case you'll just use one of the meat probe thermometers

 to measure the ambient temperature of your pit and if you need four meat probe thermometers

 well then you have four meat probe thermometers also. Now the documentation it's there but honestly

 who reads those things? By this time a company is really hurting itself if its software is not

 intuitive enough for everyone just to turn it on and start setting it up. User guides really are a

 thing of the past. On the back of the box you'll find these QR codes and if you have a QR reader

 on your phone then you can scan these and it'll take you right to the app store so you can start

 downloading the app for use. If you don't or if you don't know how to use it start up your app

 store go directly to the search bar type in inkbird pro and start downloading the app that way.

 Which is what I've done. Once the software has downloaded then you just open the app and start

 following the on-screen instructions. In this case inkbird has nailed it and as long as you follow

 the on-screen instructions it leads you from start to finish and tells you everything you need to do.

 Just follow those instructions to a tee and you'll be just fine in setting up your app.

 So the first thing we'll do is sign on to our account click the my home choose the iBBQ 4T

 turn on the device and then go to the next step. We'll choose fast flashing because our wi-fi

 signal is fast flashing and then inkbird will try to find your phone and then as soon as it does

 you'll get this congratulations message where it was a pairing success. Now once it found my device

 there was no temperature reading but all I had to do was plug in a thermometer and as you can see

 it has picked up the temperature in celsius. To fix that all you have to do is go to settings and

 then touch the temperature unit toggle. Now the thing I like most about the iBBQ 4T is that the

 display is nice and bright and it shows all four temperature readings at the same time. So I

 absolutely love that. I'll be using this thermometer in my future cooks and kind of let you know how it
