 So, overall I really love using this backpack. I think it's absolutely perfect for three to four days of travel or for a weekend trip where you can fit plenty of clothes in here and add nice organizational options for all your accessories for our electronics and it's very well-made. The quality seems great. It seems like it can easily hold up a lot of waves

 I wanted to see how much you could actually put in since this is geared for travel. So I put in about four days worth of clothes and we're cool thing about this bag is that you can expand it so when you unzip it all the way around it offers about three and a half inches of extra space. So, let's see how much we can fit in so starting with the outer pocket of the bag. This I use it's just kind of a quick access pouch, so I put in my laptop charger and since - and I actually included my iPad in here as well, since the bag doesn't really include a dedicated tablet sleep, but it works there just as well, and then I'M clipping the compression straps, you can move up to the front accessory pocket, and here, even though this is meant for tech solutions, you know it has a lot of internal pockets which I'll showcase later I just wanted to see

 You don't want to wear it. So this isn't. These are nice, flexible, straps that keep the blag slim and ready to go for an everyday, carry here's a quick view of the bag as it's compressed and how I would use it for daily use while moving around the city. So earlier in the video I showed this pocket and it was full of packing cubes

Best Weekend Travel Bag: Incase VIA Backpack Review

 As well and i'm sure you might have noticed the side - access compartments, these can't fit water bottles, unfortunately, but these are for other bits of gear that you want to store inside. This side is unique for storing a power bank. So here i have a lander portable charger and i have a charging cable, and hopefully you can see that there is this little cable port here that goes outside of the bag. So you could stick your portable charger in there feed your cable through that port, plug it in to your charger and then, while you're on the go while you're commuting while you're moving around you can actually charge your phone while you're carrying the bag, which is really Unique you don't really want to carry a portable charger inside your pocket weighing you down, but you can have it in your bag like so charging your phone

 Okay: let's get to brass tacks and talk about beer capacity, so we're going to perform the rush faster beer capacity test to show you how much you can fit in these bags, starting off with the original icon. I'M going to be storing this in the main compartment, because that's the widest compartment got to be careful that it doesn't snag onto those smaller sleeves inside this compartment. Now it's not wide enough to fit them sideways, so we're going to have to go three and i think that's going to be it. I don't think it's gon na fit four, not in that main cargo compartment

 At least you have a little bit of space down here, so if you really dismantled a six pack and just put tinnies down there, you could store it in that front organizational compartment, but three teeny six packs assembled in the main cargo compartment of the original icon. Let'S try the icon light, so that's one two: three, let's see if that zips though it does so this one probably is a more honest fit because it's using all the space of the bag, whereas in the original icon there was a lot of dead space that Couldn'T be used so here you can definitely fit three six packs inside the icon light. You can fit three six packs assembled in the original icon, but there's definitely a lot of space on the sides and the other compartments as well. This is the original icon on the body, i'm 510, and this is the icon light

 It'S a simple zipper that goes about this far into the bag. There'S no internal organization as previous with the icon original, so i've just stashed my keys in there charging cable, um tissues face mask solid state cologne and wet wipes. So i just use this pocket as a simple stash compartment. Now here you can see there is that same zippered compartment for delicate items, there's still that faux fur lining to protect your gear, and so i've stored the bluetooth wireless earphones in there now getting onto the next compartment

A Fantastic Daily Carry Bag For Professionals - The Incase ICON & ICON Lite

 30L for me works to be about 4 shirts, intimates and a spare pair of thin pants + toiletries, then a laptop + charger + camera. I haven't really been able to cull down much further, but I know that I can't go beyond 30L as well as it starts becoming an issue for me having to carry it long distances. If this is the case, times that I will go on a trip with the bag unexpanded but needing it expanded on the way back are pretty much nil. I would also not use the unexpanded bag as a day bag

At the end of my year of using both bags, I sort of feel that expandable bags are not for me. I've worked out that I need the full expanded \~30L capacity of (either) backpack. 30L for me works to be about 4 shirts, intimates and a spare pair of thin pants + toiletries, then a laptop + charger + camera. I haven't really been able to cull down much further, but I know that I can't go beyond 30L as well as it starts becoming an issue for me having to carry it long distances

 the expandable zip starts and ends on the bottom of the bag. To me, the start and end of the zip is the weakest part of the bag, and the expandable zip seems to be a less robust zipper than the other compartments. I feel a bit concerned that \*that\* is the part of the zipper that will constantly be in contact with the ground. The other design flaw is that the deeper clothes storage part of the bag faces downwards (towards your back) as opposed to frontwards (the front compartment)

Favorite expandable bags?

 your MacBook and accessories are associated with it along with your travel needs. The backpack is designed for two days of travel, but definitely could be expanded more, especially if you carry a roller bag along with you. It also complies with most international airline carry-on size requirements when it's unexpanded.  One of the major problems with many major manufacturers of luggage stuff like Samsonite who makes excellent rollers and bags is that they're not really tech oriented or even laptop oriented. There's no place to really put your laptop that's ideal and protected, nor your tech accessories that might be associated with it. In case, it's definitely when the first out there to develop travel bags from rollers to duffle bags in the backpack here that have tech oriented compartments as well as a sleeve for your computer. organization is definitely key when you're carrying this kind of stuff around as your tech accessories are protected and also very easy to locate and find answers

Starting off with the front here, we do have what I like to call a quick grab pocket, so it's a great spot for throwing in your passport wallet, something that you just want to quickly access without holding the entire bag. Next on the front, we do have an accessory compartment great for storing all your tech accessories. Also, enough room for a notebook

A Tech Travel Backpack? - Incase EO Travel Backpack - In-depth Review / Demo

 Once I check-in at the hotel I can remove my clothing (I use packing cubes), then cinch the straps on the EO and I now have a stylish office backpack to tote my laptop and business items.

 I recently went to China where I had to go from Hong Kong to mainland China (via train) and then back again. My roller suitcase was too much of a hassle. I needed to find one bag that could hold my laptop and business items as well as a few days of clothes. I purchased the EO as I saw it had a collapsible compartment designated for clothing as well as compression straps to literally change the size of the backpack

  The laptop compartment holds my 13 inch macbook pro fine, and I'm sure the 15 inch would fit with more than enough space as well. I also have some notebooks, and papers in that pocket as well with no problem. The lining definitely feels premium, and though not extremely padded on the bottom, I'm sure your laptop would be fine, lest you slam the bag on the ground.  The amount of organization is just enough for me, with a few pen holders, and larger pockets to allow for flexibility

Good compromise for Everyday and Travel Bag

All the good things you've read here, but the inability to secure the shoulder straps when not using it as a backpack makes it a snagging hazard par excellence and annoys me every time I pick it up. Stupid design oversight.

 There'S two rows of webbing that are gon na, be great for attaching things with carabiners. So I've used this to hang my Beats Studio wireless headphones when they don't fit inside of the bag. This might also be a good spot to attach an extra pair of shoes so really like the additional versatility that this webbing adds. Moving on of the straps on the back paneling so far, the bag has been pretty comfortable to wear the straps offer a nice amount of padding, they're fairly thick and they're soft on the inside

 They don't have much of a messy material to help prevent moisture from building up, so that would have been a nice addition, but they do have a nice width and I really like the contoured shape for the straps. They really fit my shoulders well. In addition, the straps have an adjustable and removable sternum strap to help distribute the weight when you have a heavier load and although I haven't had any issues yet, this does feel like the type of system where it would be fairly easy for the sternum strap to Fall off and get lost so just something to keep in mind, but, as I mentioned, I haven't had any issues yet moving out on the back pedaling. This has been pretty comfortable as well

 It would have been nice to maybe have a slit pocket or two in here, but I've just been really impressed with how much space this compartment offers, even when the bag is pretty full and it's just nice to have an area where you can quickly toss. In some bulkier items, or even your wallet and phone, while you're going through TSA at the top, there is another simple but very spacious, quick access compartment. This has a nice wide opening. That'S gon na make this great for holding bulkier accessories and to be able to easily see everything that's in the compartment at once, and so currently, what I have in here is my Ray Ban sunglasses with their case, and then I also have my GoPro Hero 3 Plus and then I also have my in case accessory pouch, which is the Dobb kit that I typically use when I'm trying to save a little bit of space

 Alright, so here's a 14 to 15 inch laptop. It's still fairly thick, but not too thick, and it's a lot smaller than that other one if we slide it in here so that fits so we can fit that in fairly easily. There's still a lot of space in here, you know, strap it down and it's not gonna go anywhere. And it's got some padding in here, so it's really not gonna be endangering the back padding

 Alright, so the first test we're gonna do is we're gonna do a laptop test just to see how the sleeve back here sort of fits and holds a laptop I know in the other video I Just put my Macbook in there. but I Thought: For the purpose of this, we'll do it a little more so.
