Love my boots!!! I am 5’2” and my boots come just below my knee! I have large calves and D width feet and these boots fit me amazingly!!! I have enough room in them that I can even wear heavy socks so I can wear them in cold weather- perfect for the snow and slush during Ohio winter weather!!! Also, I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and the size 6 in my Hunter boots was just right!!! I did get the adjustable back which I needed for my legs to be comfortable. I had tried the regular fit on in the store and I could get my leg in it but it was a tight fit. With the adjustable fit I can even put my jeans down in my boots- I’ve NEVER been able to do that!!! I had tried the UGG rain boot and they were tight around my leg and didn’t come up as high as the Hunter boot and being 5’ 2” they didn’t look as good. The Hunter boot comes up higher on my leg and makes my legs look longer!!! For me, they are perfect!!!

Purchased these Hunter boots with the adjustable back after first purchasing the original Hunter boots and the calves just barely fit me. These with the adjustable back were great in the adjustable aspect and would fit fairly wide calves. However; I had them cinched to make them small which made them bulky on the back of my leg to the point where when I sat down, it was very uncomfortable because it then hit the back of my knee. I decided to order a size down based on the mixed reviews but I should've followed the chart this time. My specs: 17 inch calf (yep, measured just for you), I wear size 7 1/2 in Michael Kors Slip-on sneakers and G by Guess sneakers, and I wear size 8 in Jessica Simpson and Christian Siriano heels. I purchased the boots in a size US 7/EU 38/UK 5 in the matte black color. The boots are extremely difficult to take off if your legs/calves are as thick as mine, and after taking them off I had a minor sensation that I still had them on

 The matte black is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured. The boots feel sturdy but not clunky and have great bend in the ankle. This is an initial review so I can't speak on durability of the material, but we are in hurricane season here in South Florida till November so I'll get to test the material in the elements. I plan to order the size 8 and compare the fit to the 7

 Disclaimer: I did order a size down, fearful they ran large, so if I had the recommended size 8 I may not have these issues. Now, these rain boots are nothing short of spectacular from my initial observation. I've ordered and returned supposed wide-calf friendly rain boots by Joules and DKSUKO and they were fails compared to Hunter in overall fit. Even a size down, the Hunter boots fit comfortably with a thin sock on, and would be tolerable if I had to keep the size 7

 I might try these again just because they are quite comfortable and easy to get on and off, and durability seems to be average or slightly above average. Not bad for the price.

 No leaks yet but as far as durability I just don't think they will last long. The rubber is kind of soft, which makes them comfortable, but they probably will develop cracks before long. For the record I have NEVER had a pair of irrigation boots last me more than 1 summer. I have tried many many brands and none that I am overly happy with

I ordered two pairs of these because I was not sure of the fit. I kept the smaller size. I wear these for photography in wet places and as such only wear them for 2-5 hours at a time. The boots are comfortable to walk and climb in and the arch support is good for this time period

I walked about 1/2 mile to get to my favorite fishing spot. These boots are comfortable to walk the round trip; cushy and soft on your hills.Inside lining is thin but helps for friction between your leg all the way down to the bottom. I ordered 1/2 size smaller

 It’s possible that a Size 10-1/2 foot could fit in Size 9 boot. I ordered Size 10 for feet that measure 10-1/2. The boots would still be too big without the industrial “steel-tipped” Dickies socks that I went out and bought -- because I liked them too much to risk that Size 9 would not fit!

These are great, durable boots, especially when price is factored into the equation. I cleaned out about a 2 acre area of swamp, use them around the farm and pond and they have held up great. I actually came online to order another pair for work, but they are not available. If you want a snug fit, you may need to go down a size, but I prefer the extra room for additional socks in the winter
