Hunter Men’s Original Short Rain Boots vs Minus33 Chocorua Men’s Midweight Wool Crew

I got these for my boyfriend because they are stylish and manly! It rains a lot, and the Chelsea boot was too short. This covers the ankle and allows you to tuck in your pants so they will stay dry too! The only, but largest issue is that when we received the boots, they were scuffed. There was no damage to the boot box. The boots are intact, but I paid for "brand new" boots, not used

It's thicker than my (very) old GAP t-shirts, and thicker than some Arizona brand t-shirts, but not as thick as my sueded cotton henleys. One other thing I first didn't like (purely aesthetic) is the thin ring around the wrists. It is a 1/2" band at the end of the sleeve. I grew to like it more than the thicker (2-3") cuffs on other long sleeve shirts, and the aesthetic has grown on me since there isn't a large change in arm size from sleeve to cuff

I know they're all the rage but for me, they were too small and hard to get on and much too beach for casual use.

Maybe its just me, but I expect a base layer shirt to have a proper neckline that is actually close fitting to the diameter of your neck. Base layers are intended for warmth and wicking, but all that is pointless if you leave your neck and upper shoulders uncovered.

" I recommend these for men over 6 feet tall, particularly those with longer arms, and for anyone experiencing temps from 20 degrees F and below. Don't let the word "wool" in the title scare you away with thoughts of itchiness, because these are almost as soft as a fleece overlayer. I look forward to getting at least a couple more years of near-constant wear out of these underlayers (I purchased the matching bottoms as well).
