If you don't need to scan anything for your work, you can save some money with a print-only model. The HP LaserJet M209dwe is a simple laser model that's a good option if you don't need color or a scanner. Like the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe, it uses toner, so you don't need to worry about printheads that clog up or ink that dries out.

However, it excels at what it's designed to do, which is print plain documents in black and white, quickly and affordably. It uses a single black toner cartridge with a remarkably high page yield. The cartridges aren't too expensive either, so the cost-per-print is outstandingly low. However, since the drum unit is separate from the cartridges, you will need to eventually purchase a replacement drum unit

After trying without success to get help from HP, I finally called Amazon support and they got me a phone number to reach HP support. That's where I finally learned I needed to purchase the USB connector. There was no way I was going to change all the wireless settings I would need when I got home. I experienced a lot of angst before I got it up and running, but once I did it worked like a dream

Brother provides absolutely miserable user setup support in case the WIFI install failed. After several hours of hunting Brother tech support online (no phone support available this weekend day), I finally found a YouTube article that breezed me through the connection setup. I am an IT engineer and recognizing how fastidious WIFI can become, I am still appalled at the hoops needed to get this thing on line. Three hours and thank goodness for YouTube

Printer works fine. I do not like how it feels like they are trying to sell you ink, like getting you hooked like selling drugs. I am concerned how it will not work without an internet connection, even with Wifi in your house. They are tracking everything that you do

I have the Brother HL-L2370DW ($129). It’s essentially the same as the 2350, but includes an Ethernet port. I’m very happy with it.

The printer works great but you HAVE to buy only HP printer cartridges. There is no setting in the printer app to disable cartridge management to allow 3rd party printer cartridges.

Appreciate the paper storage size and print cartridge capability since both allow multiple print jobs before refill necessary.

WiFi connected with HP app. BUT YOU MUST BUY HP INK AND IT IS UNGODLY EXPENSIVE, HP has mail to you toner cartridges priced on how may pages you print a month No aftermarket cartridges available.at present. HP charges 6 dollars a month for 100 pages Double sided printing is great Exceptionally FAST Very Light Not noish+y

After that, there is a price difference of about 50$ every thousand pages worth of ink. My math is pessimistic; I'm probably saving more per page than this. I've always heard that ink is so expensive because it pays for the printer, but my math indicates the manufacturer recoups their losses after a few hundred pages worth of ink. If you too are switching from a deceptively cheap printer that was too good to be true, the Hl-L2370 seems good enough to me

It prints good enough for what I need it for. Print speed is good, but setting up the wireless is a pain in the arse. Thought it would have wireless and wired capabilities, but it doesn’t. If you need to change to a different WiFi, omg super difficult

Graphics, and especially text, are much more important for typical micro or home offices. The HL-L2370DW does a standout job in printing text, and is good at graphics printing as well, while the competing Dell E310dw's text was below par in our testing, as were the Canon LBP151dw's graphics. I really like this one for the size and the wireless is a really nice feature. I have a personal and a work laptop at home so it’s great not to have to switch a cord between the 2. My only caution is that the printer makes a weird popping or clicking sound occasionally that makes my dog go nuts.

I chose separate devices primarily for the smaller footprint (small printer / scanner fits in drawer). Price-wise it was roughly the same as buying an All In One. And the Canon scanner is nicer than what I’ve seen on AIOs.
