The system did not prove as well-optimized for video editing, unfortunately. I attempted to run our routine video test (which involves exporting a five-minute, 33-second 4K video) multiple times using hardware acceleration, and Adobe Premiere Pro consistently crashed during the export. Disabling the hardware acceleration in Premiere and relying solely on software got the job done, but it took an hour and 15 minutes. So if you’ll need to be working with Premiere Pro for video on the go, don’t buy this (at least until Adobe fixes that problem)

The thesis of this review is that I have almost no complaints. This is a superb computer, and it’s frankly bizarre that it’s only $800. Don’t buy last year’s Spectre. Buy this

Even more impressive are AMD’s integrated Radeon graphics, which can handle some gaming. I was able to run Overwatch at 1080p at an average of 70fps on Medium and 62fps on High — both were quite playable. (The keyboard did get uncomfortably hot, though).  The 13-inch display and the thin compact body design really makes this the perfect 2-in-1 portable laptop. I have been a fan of the Surface Pro design for a very long time. I love how sturdy the kickstand is and how the hinge mechanism maintains its sturdiness over the years. The quality on it is top tier

 I really like how Microsoft has improved the accessibility of the SSD storage, you no longer need a SIM tool to open it. You can now push on this divot here and it pops open. You will still need a screwdriver to swap out the SSD, but that is what it's all about, improving on the design so thumbs up for that. This is only the case with the Intel version, if you opt out for the ARM version, you will still need a SIM tool

The surface pro 9 offers a slight improvement over the surface pro 8. The more powerful intel 12th-gen chip does give you more raw power, but it still has a 

A big disappointment on this is that Microsoft went ahead and got rid of the headphone jack and didn't give us an extra USB c to take its place. It still only has 2 USB c ports. They did get moved to the left side and the surface connect charging port got moved slightly up which allows the surface slim pen to magnetically attach to it. 

I have been using this tablet to mainly edit my youtube shorts and Instagram reels when I am on the go and it has been doing a fabulous job. I have been editing the videos in 1080p since it struggles when I import a lot of 4K videos. 

I am not a big fan of the surface slime pen because it is just too thin and it doesn't feel comfortable for me to draw with for a long time. This is okay for quick sketches and taking down quick notes.
