HP Envy x360 13 vs Lenovo Yoga C740

The system did not prove as well-optimized for video editing, unfortunately. I attempted to run our routine video test (which involves exporting a five-minute, 33-second 4K video) multiple times using hardware acceleration, and Adobe Premiere Pro consistently crashed during the export. Disabling the hardware acceleration in Premiere and relying solely on software got the job done, but it took an hour and 15 minutes. So if you’ll need to be working with Premiere Pro for video on the go, don’t buy this (at least until Adobe fixes that problem)

Other: The device itself runs pretty well! The only issue would be that it's dropped my wifi randomly here and there which would only be a minor inconvenience but my only fear is having it drop when I'm submitting an assignment so I've made the habit of checking beforehand! But it is the main issue I have with the device. The speakers are also pretty decent but I typically use headphones. I've seen that past models have little raisers on the inside so the keyboard isn't smashed when you have the laptop in tablet mode but this doesn't have it which is kind of a bummer but it's workable to use it semi-folded like a tent to draw on and stays in place pretty well! I've planned to sew a thin cushion to use it in desktop mode without hitting the keys but that's just me. Overall, I think if you're curious about the microsoft surface products but fear that big price point, this is a good option! College wise, it's nice to type on and a good size to keep in a backpack

My son loves his new laptop. Fast, mobile, and light due to the size. This far this purchase has exceeded our expectations.

Not only does the 2020 Envy x360 look as nice and perform as well as last year’s Spectre x360 (which starts at $1,099), but using it also feels quite similar to using HP’s $1,500 Elite Dragonfly, one of the best business notebooks on the market. A big part of that is its processor

It wasn’t refurbished correctly and now I have to pay the price. Do your self a favor and find a better seller.
