 I grew up using only Hoover products to clean our floors. My dad said "Hoover never breaks." The proof was there as we used our personal Hoover machine to clean the floors of our church twice a week plus our home at least twice a week. I do not ever remember mechanical issues or replacements of those machines

 Also, the motor was rusting and there was a white gasket or belt that was obviously not fitted properly, because it looked stretched and melted to the motor. So the replacement was as expected, it worked fine until this morning when it started making that high pitched noise just like the one I purchased in May of this year. It's Oct 2021, 3 months ago it was replaced. In 6 months I have lost faith in the Hoover quality I was accustomed too

 It is easy to use for the most part but I do think the water container seems to waste fast I had to fill it up 3 times and I only have a 9x10 area rug and I didn’t do the part under the couch. I will return it just because I really needed the hand held to work perfectly because I had a lot of uses for it. Wish it had maybe a smaller detail adapter maybe it would have been better to get into the buttons. The regular way I only have an area rug so not worth keeping it

 Having a carpet cleaner at home is really convenient so you can get carpet stains out quickly.

 I like that it has a hose attachment so I can clean upholstery and car seats. For someone who has pets it’s great. It’s a lot cheaper to buy a machine like this than have a carpet cleaning company come into your house. The quicker you can clean up a stain on the carpet the easier the stain will come out

Convenient and easy to use.  Works very well.

 Seems like you may have to empty the dirty tank and fill the clean more often, but this machine is easy to get back and running again. Not difficult to snap the clean tank back in when filled and emptying is a breeze with the pour spout on the dirty tank. I was most impressed with how easy the machine came apart for cleaning. The rotating brushes fluffed the carpet nicely

doesnt cover a large area on a single tank but it does do the job and the best price i could find. so it is the best value in my opinion and i looked at dozens of models before i purchased. clean under the rug first with a sponge or mop before using this to clean the rug.

 I Want to show how the brush roller comes off as you can see you pull the bearing cap off and the side cap. Now this machine being brand new from the factory, was a little stiff, but they loosen up over time, but you can see the brush roller just slides out the side of the machine without any tools which makes this handy for maintenance and changing parts. In typical in-house fashion, everything is well-made there are balancing marks on the brush roller and everything just assembles just how it came out and can see it will just slide right in there. No need to mess with belts or anything like that like some other commercial machines so that this makes your maintenance really fast and you can clean the brush roller

I really like using my vacuum, which is a Miele cordless stick vacuum. It's easy to use, light &amp; angles well, but the one issue I have is that it gets messy every time I empty out the canister. Maybe I'm doing it wrong somehow, but either way, are there any kind of vacuums that are really clean &amp; easy to empty out?

Which vacuum is the easiest to empty?

The filtration material traps fine dust well while still allowing the bag to breathe and not lose suction. With modern synthetic bags, you can get them crazy full before needing to empty them. While people tend to fill up their first bag kinda quick with a high quality vacuum, I'd expect that you'd barely go through a box of bags a year at most with a home that size. I think the Lindhaus Healthcare Pro is exactly the vacuum you're looking for

Hi all, 

We are in a 910 sqft rental with 90% carpet. We are hoping to move somewhere with little to no carpet in a year or so (probably will be longer), but currently need something that will DEEP clean carpet. Every time I vacuum with a bagless, it has some sort of white powdery substance. I can't imagine it could all possibly be skin cells, so I think the owner used some sort of powder cleaner or baking soda on it that never seems to come all the way out. It weirds/creeps me out and I hope it isn't something toxic as I have two toddlers. I know some of the powder cleaners are nasty. I'm torn between going for something that is just really good for carpets or something that can do both well. I'd be fine with something on the cheaper side if it's just amazing on carpet and I will just get something else when we move. We are having health issues from the carpet in here and that is my priority. I know the perfect vacuum for this situation may not exist.

\-Easy to maneuver in a smallish house. Tools that are efficient/dual purpose are a bonus. I tend to not like to fiddle with tools too much when cleaning.

If someone could point me towards a reliable site that shows someone testing vacuums deep cleaning carpets in a scientific way, that would be awesome. 

I know that a lot of people on here recommend the SEBOs. If you are going to recommend one, please tell me which one and whether you think the Felix is worth the extra money or not and why. Also, if there are any additional tools you would get and why. Are the green caps on the bags made of plastic? I couldn't seem to find an answer to that. They don't look very big and I don't like the idea of throwing that away every time it fills up, which will be very quickly with this carpet I hate so much. Out of curiosity, are there just a ton of SEBO fans and/or employees on here, or are they that good?
