I’m not sure if it was a faulty one or if they just aren’t as good as they say they are but I would not buy this vacuum again. I’ve loved shark vacuums but this is a no go for me. Guess I’ll just have to dip more money into the less portable one…

4. Buy a separate battery, the battery lasts only one or two uses and you will have a more enjoyable experience if you have a charged battery at the ready. I honestly got better function out of a shake sweeper, but those types of unites don't seem to be made anymore.

I would look into returning it but we are beyond the 30 days. What will I do? Buy a Miele and use this one for the quick jobs. Now for the issues: The rating is a 3 primarily because we have a golden retriever and it is not optimal for longer fur animals though I think it would be fine for short hair dogs. The fur has gotten trapped in the small wheels that are adjacent to the silver roller with the orange bristles and has jammed them

So for the record I live a lone no children in a 1200 sq ft house that is half carpet half hard wood floors. I was able to sweep one bedroom on carpet mode in speed mode before the battery died then had to swap the second one in so I could finish dusting with the attachment. The actual power of the vacuum is strong it did the job but one thing that was driving me nuts was the end attachments spin when locked into place? So if your dusting with the extended reach in the corners of a wall or steps it will keep pushing the nozzle around if your not being super corrective in what your doing. All around this is a bad buy IMO and I'm going to do a return on it and spend the extra on a Dyson

For about 10 years, we have used a Dyson Animal upright vac, which has been amazing at getting hair and dirt out of the carpets. The Dyson is an exceptional vacuum, but it's quite large, and heavy, and it's corded. We wanted to try a cord-free vacuum, and were impressed by the features and reviews for the Shark IONFlex 2x, so we gave it a try. There are good and bad points, when taken in consideration -

The Hoover Onepwr Blade+ is an ok vacuum with a very good battery system. Not mind blowing power but it has a price that really makes it a strong value.

Direct air or dirty air machines like the Hoover Onepwr Hepa+ and Kirbys air and dirt go through the motor then into the bag. Since the bag is placed after the motor there is no need for an additional filter Hepa or otherwise but many direct/dirty air machines use their outer bag as an additional layer of filtration. As to why they don’t call all their bags Hepa is probably to simplify marketing.

of carpet space is easy to cover on half a battery charge. We recommend getting additional filters so you can load one in while the washed one dries. If you have a lot of sq. footage you may want to consider getting an extra battery

There are better choices out there. The Bissel Lynx is lighter, easier to manage has great suction, and is no mess cleaning it out. Everything easily drops out. No need to stick you hand into it to clean it out

Easy and convenient to use, but at the end of every vacuuming the head drops a lot of debris. So light,and battery lasts, but this cannot suck like my Kirby. Good for dust maybe

The + feature (this seems to be a suction boost) is the only feature that actually causes any suction on solid surfaces but drains the battery so fast. It works fine on my low pile rug with the brush heater going. It is incredibly difficult to change attachments - especially removing the handle from the long hose. It takes quite of bit of strength to get the pieces apart

Last but not least ran it over all the floor moldings. I was impressed with the amount of suction throughout the use. Emptying the dirt cup was a little wonky but now that I know what to do it's not bad. I would definitely recommend the second battery (ordered mine today) and I picked up the motorized pet tool to do the couches
