The air purifier works well. I wanted it for all the smoke and we are planning on having a pet in the future so we also wanted one for that. We have a semi open living/dining space that this is perfect for since it works for a 500 sq ft space. It is hard to hide because of how large it is

No HEPA filter can work properly if it is undersized to the room, but combining two (or more) small machines in a larger room is an option. Having the internal fan pull in air at multiple points can actually work better than one stronger fan operating to one side of a large or irregularly shaped room. Since my bedroom is larger than the kids', we run two units to reduce allergens there, one one either side of our king sized bed. This isn't the model to buy if you want it to work alone in a large room, but it is reasonable for most small to moderately sized bedrooms

I have noticed a major improvement in the 2 weeks I have had this product. The display panel is very nice and makes it easy to use. The control panel also has adjustable brightness, which is a fantastic feature. The brightest level is a little distracting to me, so being able to dim it is great

I would definitely recommend the BISSELL MYair Pro Air Purifier over this Levoit. I'm not concerned with high tech options personally. If it were me, I'd check the BISSELL MYair Pro Air Purifier out instead.
