I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

The media could not be loaded. For starters, you should know that while I bought these boots to wear specifically for hiking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, I am actually a professional hiker for a living and have tried ALL. THE. BOOTS

 That being said, they are looking almost as good as new after Peru and 2 months of local hiking, so I will have to update when they do start to degrade. BUT even if and when they do, I must say that at least for a big hike like the Inca trail, they were worth EVERY PENNY. In fact, even if they only last me a couple years on my local trails, I'm at an age now where the protection from the impact of hiking on my feet, knees, ankles and hips that these boots offer is worth the price, as steep as that is, even if they don't last as long as other brands and models. I've learned that with hiking boots and shoes, everything is a tradeoff, and for me, comfort is king

 Not the socks, the sock liners. The individually wrapped toes make all the difference. Layer 2 - Dr. Fredericks gel toe caps (for use on big toes OVER the sock liners) Layer 3 - A pair of Darn Tough FULL CUSHION boot socks Layer 4 - Hoka One Anacapa (or Sky Kaha) boots  I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else!  Your feet will thank you! Also, that extra chunk makes them a lot more of a pain in the butt to pack, but again, WORTH IT.  I want to say they're, very lightweight, bendable put them on and still be comfortable I'd have any issues lightweight ankle support. Now I would say these are great for colder fall during light winter, because I barely had these it's not that cold of night. You might be already start feeling warm, but then work, sweaty, they're, very breathable. They have that lightweight insulation and they have Danner's mesh liner, which is waterproof a little good on top of the leather body

So it's really grippy nice and lightweight not too much and they have a TV, a light pencil or is it midsole? So I could handle a lot of impact, so we're going running light weight running on the trail you can handle it

 When I added a piece of moleskin, they are now comfortable enough, although I can still feel that edge. I'm continuing to work the seam, and may put on another moleskin patch. The size was exactly right (for me.) They are light and otherwise quite comfortable

 Painfiully tight. I own the Danner Mountain 600 which is possible the most comfortable shoe I've worn of any kind. Trying to repeat this success with any other Danner, even though they share lasts and designs, is impossible. Danner does not make fit consistency through the line a priority

I love these boots. I saw reviews about the fit at the top of the foot being poor. I agree- the fit is odd and unpleasant at first. It was actually downright painful for the first few hikes but it got better each time as they broke in

 I got a 12 in this shoe and it was way too big. I returned it and got 11.5. Still too big

Size 12 is more like a 13/13.5. Get a full size smaller.

 They are stylish enough to satisfy an Italian's desire to be fashionable, yet sturdy and waterproof enough for the snow we will encounter in the mountains of Italy.

Sizing: I wear a 10.5 in dress and generally go 11.5 for running (Nike Pegasus 33), so when I read other reviews for sizing, I went for an 11. The first pair arrived and they were way too big

 Even to accommodate for a think pair of socks, there was a mile of space in the toe box. Immediately returned them and ordered the 10.5. Perfect fit
