I really like this TV, had old plasma since 08, this is quite the upgrade. Haven't tested all the features other than Netflix & gaming on PS5 which are great , but I wasn't expecting really deep sound from the factory speakers. But I told him I didn’t have the box anymore. He said find a box and ship it back. I said I didn’t have one if I bought a replacement could I ss end it back in that ? He said yes so after more emails to Sony I gave up bought another , got it set it up and wow ! The pictures better and the sound bar stays on . My wife is happy and so am I

We bought this for a family member who is in the high end audio and stereo business. So far he is happy with it. The only issue we ran into is the compatibility of it with the cable TV remote. They don't quite jive so we are forced to use two remotes at all times now

The Android UI, overall, is a pleasant experience, and offers most streaming apps that the average user will want. It doesn't offer quite the plethora of apps that Roku does, but overall, that's not a downside to me. Remote Control: Not much to say here other than that the remote is well laid out and your fingers quickly learn where to land to execute the desired function. Definitely an improvement over past Sony offerings

And the bigger your TV, the more 8K makes sense. All of those extra inches require more pixels to maintain the same pixels per inch as smaller-sized 4K TVs. Once TVs larger than 85 inches become more mainstream, 8K will be hard to resist.
