I struggle with finding gloves that will keep my hands toasty and am willing to pay $$$ for warmth. However, these didn’t appear to be any warmer than my cheap Head mittens that have separate finger compartments inside which I love as it adds to the warm. Wish Hestra made a similar mitten!

Cold enough that I take my fingers out and put my hands into a fist to try and warm up. So beyond disappointed especially because they are not cheap mittens and had positive reviews. I would return them if I could. These might be suitable for around 0 temps but not for any colder in my opinion

) As I have Raynaud’s, I really need a good fit. So I’m returning these and getting a 10 in men’s. I wish they had a 10 in women’s because I like the color choices better. Oh well

Following the sizing chart, I purchased a small based on my measurements. I was disappointed to find that the mittens were far too small, primarily in the thumb. But also butting up at the tip of my fingers. I teach nature preschool in northern MN, and typically were thin gloves under my mittens

2. Other reviewers raved about the Hestra handcuffs but I found them overrated and useless. They're not adjustable! Yeah, yeah, they're elastic straps, so if your wrists are bigger than the elastic loops, they'll expand to accommodate your wrists and prevent you from losing your expensive Heli mitts. But I have slim wrists, which meant the nonadjustable handcuffs kept falling off when I'd take the mitts off to adjust my balaclava or goggles and then brought my hands down to my sides a bit too quickly

The mitten is so small she could barely get her hand in, and the elastic squeezes the wrist so tight she thinks her hand would fall asleep. I can barely get my hands in and we don't have big hands. I guess I'll send it back and try a mens extra large.
